I live near San Jose, California, but I grew up near Chicago.

I’m a designer by trade, though I studied creative writing in school.

I like sending and receiving mail of all kinds, including postcards, packages, and the occasional letter.

I’m interested in Japan, including the culture, traditional designs/art, and modern pop culture (especially kawaii things).

I enjoy reading, especially literary and historical fiction.

I adore hamsters and have two of my own.

I like to cook, especially Asian dishes, and have been trying out new recipes for fun.

I like being crafty, mainly with paper. I make envelopes, cards, postcards, collages, etc.

• Hello Kitty, Disney, Diddl, Barbie, Looney Tunes
• Teddy bear or country-style items
• Cosmetics/make-up, jewelry, clothing
• Jelly beans, licorice
• Tea with fruit flavors, especially herbal teas
• Anything junky
• Business cards, pamphlets, or ads I didn't request

There's no need to email me when you mail my swap, unless you're going to be late. I like things to arrive somewhat unexpected. :)
