I live near San Jose, CA, which is about 50 miles south of San Francisco. I've lived here since 2000, and I really love it out here.
I'm originally from Chicago, and went to school in central Illinois. I studied creative writing and whatever else appealed to me.
I work as an interaction designer for web companies. I'm very interested in ecommerce and also sell online on Etsy.
I like being crafty, especially with paper, either on my own or with friends.
I am obsessed with all things Japanese, including traditional designs and art, as well as the more modern pop culture and kawaii (cute).
Oh, and I adore hamsters. :)
I mostly make things with paper, like cards, envelopes, postcards, collages, ATCs, and things like that.
I also like graphic/visual design, though I only dabble in it.
I'm really interested in the use of color in the things I make, and I like to collect and create samples of color and color palettes.
I do occasionally sew and do cross-stitch as well.
