HOPE FOR ARIA! Please join me in giving hope to Aria's family. The photo is a picture of her just a few days ago after her surgery.
This is going to be a very simple postcard swap, but with far-reaching effects. There is a little girl 3 1/2 years old named Aria MacDonald who is having major bowel transplant surgery. She is in the hospital in Omaha, NE as we speak. Her family is from New Zealand and they are here on a medical visa. I have a friend who is a close friend of the family.
Here is my project. I want you to send your partner a postcard AND send a postcard to this little girl Aria. I want her hospital room to be plastered with beautiful cards from around the world offering her and her family HOPE! The postcards can be anything that you think she'd like, colorful is best I think. Her favorite color is PURPLE.
So, you will send two postcards. One to your partner.... One to ARIA MACDONALD in her hospital room!
Aria MacDonald Room Number 6724 Lied Transplant Center 987600 Nebraska Medical Center Omaha NE 68198-7600 USA
If you want to send the postcard in an envie with a lovely ATC, or card then feel free. Do not send her candies or food - she has never eaten food in her life, can you imagine? Just send her pretty things to look at, I thought postcards would be easiest for her family to work with and easily posted on the walls.
For more about her visit aria.org.nz There are beautiful and amazing pictures of her taken after her first surgeries, please take a look.
Also check out a youtube of the family Aria on Youtube
I'm giving a week to sign up, as I feel we need to get these out sooner rather than later to encourage her and her family. Please tell your friends about the swap if you like, all promotion is welcome.
Rules cause we have to have them: 4.9 rating, no recent 1's or 3's (contact me if there is an issue you need to discuss) - Newbies welcome with a filled out profile - If you don't have time to send, don't sign up, I don't tolerate flakers especially not for something as important as this! Thank you.
