This swap is for postcard lovers who also like postage stamps. For this swap, you will send 1 postcard to 1 partner using at least 3 postage stamps.

The requirements for this swap are:

  • Send 1 store bought postcard to your partner. The postcard is sender’s choice but it’s nice (but not required) to check your partner’s profile for likes.

  • Use at least 3 postage stamps (preferably different stamps) to send the postcard

  • Send the postcard “naked” (written and stamped) so you’ll have a chance to write a nice message

  • Remember to write your username and the swap name on the postcard

Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile. I’ll check all profiles for recent no-sends and potential flakers.

If the point of the swap is the stamps, why can't the postcard be handmade?

qwerty2k 03/23/2010 #

I was thinking that a lot of people like store bought cards and that they are easy to find. A lot of people like handmade cards too but I wanted to be specific in my swap so that potential swappers would know what kind of card to expect from this swap.

When will it start? I am living in China,so it will spend a lot of time to send the postcard.

Swap partners will be assigned March 30 so be sure to check back then to find out your partner's name and address. You'll need to mail your postcard no later than April 12.

A note to USA participants -

Currently, the majority of people who have signed up for this swap are from the US so it's possible that your partner will be from the US. If this happens, consider challenging yourself to see how many stamps you can fit on the postcard. Have fun with it! =0)

yes! i would love someone to use as many stamps as they could...i ordered some fun old stamps from ebay that will be perfect for this swap because they are lower denomination :)

thank you for the answer! another question:where can i find my partner?

On March 30 (and any day after that), come back to this swap page. There will be a yellow box on the top right corner labeled "swap member options." One of the options will be to "see the partners you send to." Click on this option and that's where you'll see your partner's name and address.
