Hi, my name is Donna. I live in Washington, the Evergreen State. I enjoy scrapbooking, taking walks, and reading. My favorite vacation spot is the Oregon coast.

Favorite Music: The type of music I have on my IPod right now: Motown, some disco (hey, stop laughing!), spiritual, and pop. I mostly use my IPod when I take long walks so the music is pretty upbeat.

Favorite TV Shows: Some of my favorite shows are Grimm, Once Upon a Time, and Big Bang Theory.

Favorite Movies: The Notebook, the Harry Potter series

I like to swap these items:

• postcards
  For private swaps... I'm currently swapping only one card per person, written and stamped.

• foreign coins - small amounts only

• used postage stamps and stamp bags

• pressed pennies - My son has a couple of duplicates in his pressed penny collection that he'd like to swap. One is from Disney World, the other is from Alaska.

I started collecting postcards when I was a child. Now that I'm all "grown up" and can afford to spend more on postage and send/receive cards from foreign countries, I also enjoy collecting postage stamps. I trade postcards at Postcrossing too; my Postcrossing username is the same, qwerty2k.

I prefer store bought postcards and my cards written & stamped (but if it's easier/less expensive for you to mail it in an envelope, that's fine too) . No ad cards, please.

My favorite kinds of postcards include:

• people dressed in their culture's traditional clothing
• children in a classroom or other learning setting (if you have one of these postcards, please let me know and I'll give you my school address to send it to)
• views with fog, low clouds, or mist - click on the "My Postcard Collection" album link (above) to see examples
• penguins, puffins, pandas
• beaches & ocean - the warmer looking/tropical, the better :)
• 2010 Olympics in Vancouver (mascots, sports, venues, etc)
• single view cards (nature landscapes, cityviews, famous landmarks)
• maps
• lighthouses
• USPS Stamp (the postcards that the USPS issues with a picture of a stamp on the front)

Pretty postage stamps on the postcard are always appreciated. :)

I bought some coin books to collect the state quarters for my kids. The books have spots for both the D and P minted quarters. I live on the west coast so I get mostly D quarters. If there is anyone out there who would like to swap P's for D's (or I can send something else if you don't want quarters back), please send a PM and let's trade!
