Description:

This swap is for one captured creature bottle to go to one partner. The scene you create and what you capture is up to you but please be sensitive of your partners profile. If they don't like spiders, then please don't send a captured spider scene. Otherwise, you can make a jar/bottle with any captured creature you would like. For example, a captured mermaid, fairy, troll, monster, butterfly queen.........the options for creatures and scenes are endless. Your bottles/jars/containers can be plastic or glass but you should be able to look through the container and see the scene you create. The size of container is also up to you. Have fun creating these!

This is just for the USA and Canada. Sorry International folks. It would be great if someone else would like to start an International version of this swap and then post the link in the comments section.

YAY! Thanks! I'll watch until I find the perfect container. My MIL got me interested in her miniatures business, so I'm sure I can capture something wonderful! :)

I don't think I've ever seen any of these and googling insn't quite helping. Do you have links for examples? Thanks. :)

There are also many different types on etsy, ebay, and other craft sites/blogs. HERE Here HERE

Above are a few links that you might find helpful. You can also find books at Amazon, etc. and places like etsy.com and ebay usually have artists selling there captured creatures. Hope that helps. Have fun.

Thanks @wolfeagle You're awesome. :) I guess I was just using the wrong terms. I did manage to find a couple mermaid ones on my own the other day.

Just to make sure: this is for a 3D jar/bottle/etc? Not a flat, right? Some of the images were flat I think, so I wanted to check. Thanks again!

Yes, use a bottle/jar, etc, and then make a scene inside. If you want to decorate the bottle a bit., then please just be sure, you can look in to it from the other side, etc. We want to see in the bottle also. Have fun.

I see that its a 3d bottle, can the captured fairy/etc inside be flat? or does this part also need to be 3d? This is a great craft & I really am hoping the interior can be flat image so I can do it!

Yes, it can be a flat image inside...or 3D, that's up to you.

I have a cool idea for this...but its for a smaller jar. Does the size of the jar/bottle matter? The one I want to use is for capers, so its tall and thin.

A caper jar is fine. The jar is up to you.
