Description:

Hello Card Makers!!

This is an open theme card swap, just like the International one last month. This swap will be limited to USA and Canada to save on postage costs.

You will make (2) two cards for each of your (2) two partners. The theme is your choice; some examples are Happy Birthday, Fathers Day, Anniversary, Graduate, Get Well, Thanks, etc. Even Christmas cards are okay, whatever you are inclined to make at this time. Be sure to check your partners profile for preferences like color, religion and so on.

Use quality materials to construct your cards with at least two layers of cardstock and NO STICKERS, “just a meaningless, thoughtless flat stickers” (Teacher reward type for example), is what is meant by “no stickers”. Embellishments are preferred but not required. Rubber stamping is nice but not required and adding a sentiment in the card is not required--some prefer the inside be left blank.

Be sure to include a short note to your partner explaining how you came up with your particular cards. Swap is open to Newbie’s with completed profiles. Make sure you sign the back of your cards, I always sing mine.

*Don't join this swap if you have had a #1 rating in the last 6 months. If for some reason you cannot meet the requirements of this swap PM me and we will work it out. *

Check out www.cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com for some great ideas and sketches.

Hope you will join us. If this swap works out my BFF will host another in August.

Remember to Rate your partners & coordinator after your cards arrive.

Happy Card making!! cj & nlgrudis

Question: Can we sign the back of our cards? I always sign the back of my cards with one of my personalized rubber stamps and was wondering..Thanks!

Does it have to be rubberstamped cards? Also could they be blank inside but really fancy on the front?

texdel 07/10/2010 #

For - Darleneh710 - Please sign the back of your cards. I always sign mine.

For KraftyKaren - The card does not ahve to be rubber stamped. The design is whatever you like. You may add a sentiment to the inside, that is your choice. I prefer to leave mine blank.

I will edit the swap description to include this info.

Do we include an envelope for each card, or just the card?

texdel 07/21/2010 #

Envelopes are optional for standard A@ size cards. If the cards yo make are non-standard please include an envelope. Sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks

CJ
