Description:

This swap is international.

December 1st is the international AIDS awareness day. That is the day for wearing red ribbon, to show your support and tolerance. Or why not wear that special ribbon every day?

Your challenge is to create a red ribbon item for two participants. The items can be simple tasteful support ribbons with safety pins, or they can be patches, pins, broaches, pendants, pins or badges. Use any media you like. You can use ribbon, clothe, clay, beads... Embellish if you like, just make something that you would be proud to wear yourself.

For stars, you can add some other pin that shows your personal cause, be it breast cancer, peace, autisim, womens' movement, clear water or whatever you are supporting.

Newbies with complete profile welcome. I will scan trough all the participants with a rating less than a 5.

My mother died from AIDS a few years back, I'm so happy to see this swap!

kylanicole: Thank you. I got them yesterday. The pins are both lovely, and I appreciate your "going green" with this swap -- more than you know. The magnetic angel is now gracing my fridge and the other's on my collar...and will be several more times this year. ;)

cats and jay: your ribbons are on their way from South Carolina, USA.
