Treasure hunting

Yarrr! Ohoy me hearties!

For this swap you will go on a real treasure hunting quest.

You have been hired by Miss Swaplover (a female pirate also known as your swappartner) to find one of her hidden treasures. Below you can read Miss Swaplovers directions on where you'll find the big treasure and on your way you will even find some extra little items that you will also send to her.

The directions

Your starting point is in the middle of your favourite shopping street or arcade. You will navigate your way through the store(s) by following the directions below picking up stuff while making your way to the big treasure.

1. Close your eyes and turn around for 10 seconds. Open your eyes and walk to the store in front of you. If you don't have a store in front of you right now, do it again untill you succeed. In this store you are looking for something blue to symbolize the water we are sayling on to get to the treasure island.

2. Yay, we got to the island! Now walk outside the store and enter the second store on your left. Here we will need a tool of any kind (think creatively - a comb is a tool, so is a fork, a bobby pin, a bookmark, a bra strap and so on). This tool symbolizes the tool we will use for digging up the treasure. Digg digg digg

3. Phew, now we need an energizer. Go to the first store where you know you can buy something edible. Pick one of the cheapest snacks/goodies in the store (you are a pirate-helper and therefore don't earn that much).

4. You decide to open the treasure chest in an old bookstore or second hand shop. As you open the chest to reveal the treasure, something disturbs you and makes you look away for a second. When you get back to the chest it's empty! You decide to find a BOOK to stuff into the chest - maybe Miss Swaplover will be content with this?

5. Your last job as the pirate-helper is to draw up the map for Miss Swaplover and write her a letter about your quest.

Pack all of this up and mail it to Miss Swaplover.

In short you will find the following items for your partner: something blue, a tool (read description above), a snack/piece of candy, a book, a letter describing your quest + a map.
