Description:

One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.
~ Luciano Pavarotti

Sharing a meal can be a very significant event. The act of breaking bread with friends and family or even strangers can lead to all kinds of funny anecdotes, fascinating revelations, and deepened relationships.

For this swap, you are invited to share a memorable meal with your partner. Write a note describing a breakfast/lunch/dinner that was significant to you in some way. Perhaps you learned a dear friend was pregnant...or that your long-lost brother was coming home for the holidays...or that your kids actually had shaved your cat, not your evil neighbor! It doesn't matter whether your anecdote is poignant or serious or hilarious, but it must be a true story.

Please share details about why this meal stands out in your mind. If it's important, you can include info about where you were and what you ate as well.

This postcard is sender's choice and can be store-bought, clean vintage, or handmade, and of course, should be sent NAKED. It does not have to specifically match the written theme, but it's nice if you can manage it! Please do remember to rate promptly when you receive your card. Bon appetit!
