I love Haiku poetry because they are easy and fun to write. I think I will make these swaps often for this group, so here is Round 2, labeled as (R2) so we don't get confused when rating. Hope to see you all in it again!! These will have quick sign-ups and quick turn around dates for mailing out.

For this swap...

alternate text alternate textalternate textalternate textalternate text

  • You will mail one (1) postcard to one (1) partner. Store bought ~OR~ handmade (if nice and made with care) is acceptable.

  • The postcard is sender's choice, but must have an original "Haiku" poem written by you on the back. That's it!

  • A Haiku poem consists of three lines. First line has 5 syllables, second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables. That's all there is to it. "5, 7, 5".

  • The postcard is to be stamped and addressed to your partner. Please do not make any special requests for how it should be mailed.

  • This swap has a quick turn around date, so please make sure you will be able to send out by the deadline.

  • Don't forget to write the swap name and your user name somewhere on the postcard so you can be rated. PLEASE rate your partner in return!!!

  • This is a group swap, so if you are not a member, please consider joining! We'd love to have you!!!
