Another of our famous self-improvement swaps!! I just can't seem to get myself back exercising regularly, and I NEED TO!!! It's Spring, and the weather should start warming up in most of our DandelionZones ... so there's NO EXCUSE. (not that there was an excuse before...)
Exercise DAILY for a full month. (You are allowed 5 'Weedy Days'... these are the days when the Dandelion feels more like a weed than a useful blossom, and simply can't move!) It doesn't matter what the exercise is, as long as you know you have given it your best shot for the day. PM your partner daily if possible, OR at the end of each week if you prefer, and give her your update. He month begins Sunday March 13 and ends Sunday April 10.
Remember, it is not healthy to work your body hard, and in the same way, every day! So to do this swap effectively, you will need to learn to budget your exercise time accordingly. Your exercise can be a five mile jog, a triathalon, a ten minute walk, a two hour walk, five minutes with hand weights, or sit-ups during your favorite sit-com... your call each day.
Re: rating this swap... if you feel your partner has seized the spirit of the swap and has been trying to exercise more regularly, she should get a five. If you feel she has been needlessly sporadic, a three would be in order... but OUCH, talk through it first.*
(*) Unless I am your partner. If I am your partner show NO mercy, offer NO quarter, and give me NO grace. I need to earn my five, please. That's the point. Without the threat of a one I won't do it. PS... I will start strong but after a week I may try to wheedle my way out of it. DO NOT ALLOW THIS BEHAVIOR. :)
