The beautiful picture above was found at Daily Poetics: http://dailypoetics.typepad.com/daily_poetics/found/

I love altered jewelry! I especially like making OOAK pieces from something I've found at the beach, a piece from my jewelry box, or something from my "junk" drawer.

For this swap, we will make 1 altered charm for 1 partner from a found object. Let your imagination run free! Your piece does not have to look "worn". It can be shiny and glam if you'd like, it just has to be altered & turned into a charm. Solder, smash, glue, texturize, or rivet..make it work ;)

The only requirements: Make sure you have a loop or jump ring so your partner can attach it to something. Also-a bead cannot serve as the focal.

If this swap is successful, I will host this swap as a series so we can accumulate a trove of gorgeousness!

Here is a great page with lots of inspiration!

Awesome!! This would be awesome to do multiple swaps like this and have enough charms to make a bracelet or necklace etc, and show it off with all the different charms collected!
