When Life Hands You Lemons . . . Make Invisible Ink!!!

This is a secret message swap. :o)

Materials needed:

Lemon Juice
Toothpick or Fine Paint Brush
Unlined Paper
Ball Point Pen

Using the lemon juice as ink, dip your toothpick or paint brush in it and write a secret message to your partner. Share something about yourself that isn't already on your profile for the whole world to see. Something "secret".

On the other side of the paper, write a "cover letter" with a ball point pen to disguise the fact that you've written a secret message. (It would be strange to mail a blank piece of paper, right?)

I read that the invisible "ink" works for rubber stamps too!
I'm not sure how long it takes for the invisible "ink" to dry, so allow at least 24 hours just to be safe.

To reveal your secret message, apply heat. Hold over a candle, use a hair dryer...I plan to simply iron mine. The lettering in lemon juice should turn brown.

Thanks @luverbird for this very cool swap idea!
Happy Swapping and Lemon Squishing!

I am sorry guys, I have to drop out of this one. My son is really sick and I need to focus my attention there for a while.

It worked! It worked! At first I tried a candle for the "reveal", but switched to an iron and it worked like a charm. Hope you all enjoyed this swap!
