Description:

IF YOU GUYS WOULD LIKE TO SHARE YOUR FINISHED PROJECTS (WHETHER IT BE QUILT, OR NOT) SOUND OFF IN THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW ABOUT YOUR IDEAS ON HOW TO DO SO. (:

ALSO, THANKS FOR BEING SO PATIENT WITH ME. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU DO WITH YOUR SQUARES!

This is just a simple fabric swap. It is the 6th swap in a series of 12. We will be sending THREE 9"x9" squares of fabric to EACH of your partners (you will have four). This means you will be sending 12 squares of fabric and hopefully after about 6 more swaps, you will have enough to make a queen size quilt.

You can join as many as you want. There are no material requirements and it's sender's choice, so feel free to send your leftovers, if you have any. If you don't like the fabric you got, reswap it in the next one (no one says you have to keep it). DON'T give the sender a bad rating. If your partner sends you a fabric square measuring 9"x9", then they get a five regardless of your preferences! If you like the fabric, give them a heart.

*Please make sure that your squares are, indeed, actually square. This goes for everyone, including myself. Thanks, guys.

Newbies welcome with a well filled profile and everyone must have a rating of 4.8 and higher. No recent 1's or 3's. That means 1's must be at least 6 months old and 3's must be at least 3 months old. I will be checking profiles and if I have questions or concerns, I will message you. I will angel if necessary (but I pray it isn't, this really isn't that hard). :D

I'm planning on making a quilt with the squares I receive. I'm willing to take pictures, send them on to others who want to share their projects. Either thru the computer or mail. Thanks, think it will be very interesting to see what others are doing with their crafts. A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others. Quote by: Ayn Rand

For my bed, I will make a very colourful, international quilt. Will gladly send pictures when done. It will be just right to curl up under and read.

Are the fabric squares all to be cotton? Or is the type of fabric senders choice

@Donnaleesymons There are no fabric requirements. You may send whatever type of fabric tickles your fancy. This is, when you are able. Good luck with your post office dilemma. :/

I've decided what I'm going to make. I joined a noodle swap, and turned my noodles into 9" square pinwheels. I am going to alternate pinwheels with the solid blocks (solid meaning one piece, not one color, as most are prints), and make either a quilt or throw, depending on how many I get. I would love to share progress photos if someone wants to start a Flickr group. It will be TOTALLY out of my comfort zone to have a complete quilt project made from fabrics I did not choose, so this is really good for me. Expanding my world.

CANADA POST back to work on June 28th - swaps go in the mail in the morning - I am sure there will be a lineup.
