Description:

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream (toppings)!"

One of my favorite things about summer is all of the frozen tasty treats. I adore popsicles and delight in a bowl of ice cream or frozen yogurt. Fancy toppings make it all the more delicious. For this swap, we will send our partners one or more of our favorite ice cream toppings.

  • We will send one or more of our favorite ice cream toppings. The minimum value is $3 US before shipping.

  • This is a sender's choice swap, so it's not one to join if you have dietary restrictions, food allergies, or are an otherwise picky eater. If you are open to passing along a food item that doesn't suit you to a friend or family member, you are welcome to join, of course.

  • All toppings MUST be commercially packaged and sealed. It's not acceptable to buy something in bulk or pour out of a larger bag to share with your partner.

  • Add a note to your partner to personalize the swap. (something more than just your name and swap name, please!) Tell your partner some information about the ice cream topping you're sending.

  • try our best to make this a fun swap for our partners. Sending the barest of technical requirements really isn't in the spirit of a group swap.

The usual group rules also apply:

  • Send foods in commercially sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates before sending.

  • Be courteous by sending our swaps on time and rating our partners when we receive. In the rare circumstance that you must be late, it is expected that you will contact both your partner and the swap host.

  • Package your swap appropriately to protect the contents. Zip-top baggies are smart for containing unexpected breaks and leaks. Boxes rather than envelopes should be used for fragile items. We all appreciate the efforts taken to keep our swaps enjoyable!

Wishing everyone a happy and delicious summer!

It's really hot in many of the places in the northern hemisphere right now. Please be sure to package things really well if you choose to send chocolate or other meltable toppings. Thanks!

Oooh. I mustinclude a recipe of some onf my ice creams. Even if "winter" here beats sun with a spatula, we could enjoy some ice cream on those semi-warmer days (or eat out-of-had).
