Description:

Welcome to our first swap, we…I mean I am so glad you decided to join us in our little book club. Wait a minute is that…

Anyways. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a swap for bibliophiles of the paranormal kind. It will be a monthly thing, so feel free to come in and out at your leisure. I will eventually get around to making a Book Club suggestion thread for themes and the like. I'm also looking for a good name for our book club (Not so savvy on things like that!)

What….uh…Nevermind…

Since August 9th is National Book Lover’s Day, I thought I would make this simple: Send a book you love! A bookmark to go with, and a small note.

Now there are some guidelines (rules) (Don’t turn around!):

  • The book HAS to do with the paranormal of some kind. It can be anything related to that, any theme, with any characters. It just had to be about the paranormal in some context. Fiction, non-fiction, ghost stories, romance novels, horror, urban fantasy/horror, mysteries, vampires, zombies, whatever!! Send something YOU love!

  • The book in question doesn’t have to be brand spanking new, but it cannot be yucky, stained, smelly, falling apart, have pages missing, and/or ripped up. It must be something clean and nice. Not gross. Not broken. Not dirty! I will BAN anyone from future swaps who sends this as their book.

  • The bookmark can be bought or handmade by you, any size, shape or whatever. It cannot be a freebie. You can make it any way you wish, but try to make it group themed (and the group is pretty generous on themes, so think anything within the paranormal realm). You can make it geared to the theme of the book or make it more profile loved. It’s your choice. However! Nothing yucky. Broken. Dirty. Or just plain nasty.

  • Include a small note. Doesn’t have to be HUGE or loooooooooooonnnnnnggg. But tell why you chose the book as one you love and include the swap name and your swapbot ID.

  • Have fun!! (Watch the shadows above your computer and don’t look over your shoulder, not even if you see something out of the corner of your eye…)

Ratings: This is a Sender’s Choice swap. Rate accordingly within the rules set by the Swapbot Admin. If you received, it was on time, and it met the requirements, then it should be a five. Items should not be dirty/nasty OR go against postal regulations OR against the law. Eligibility: No 1's. At all. No recent 3’s (within 3 months) WITHOUT a good explanation PMed to me FIRST please. Must be a part of the group (sorry). Must AT LEAST have a 4.7 with a good Swapbot history. Suspicious behavior (overtagging, signing up for multiple swaps at once, etc) Will be taken into account (I will be checking!) Newbies with at least one type three swaps, NO 1’s or 3’s, can join. Must be commited.

Hope to see you all in September….Undead Poet Society Edition! Oh…

Wait….

Don’t move. Don’t turn around….

That sound, blame it on the cat….

Just click the join button and it will all be ok.......;)

Oh man, I wish this was regional. International shipping gets so expensive.
