I am... 40. I said it. I have a husband, three feline fur-kids, a new dog, and no children. I spend my free time either hiking and enjoying nature (we do a lot of geocaching), knitting, and watching horror movies. I'm not much of a social butterfly, but I hate being cooped up for too long. Oh, I also play HerInteractive's series of Nancy Drew games. I've played them all multiple times.
COLORS: My favorites are in the blue, green, purple family, but also red and yellow. And of course, black, brown, grey, and white. I'm not a HUGE fan of orange, but I've been trying to expand my color horizons. I've even used a few yarns for projects that have a lot of orange, so I'm coming around to it. My kitchen is teal and copper, but when it comes to dishcloths, I'm happy with any color.
I prefer postcards stamped and written. I like UNESCO site cards, view and multi views, any art or artist related, pop culture, or recipe cards. I'm really not that picky, though. I'm just happy to get something in the mail that isn't junk.
Things I like:
Gummy Bears. All of the gummy bears. Except Haribo. Almost all of the gummy bears. :P
Anything Halloween or horror related, especially vintage Halloween decorations, paper goods, figures, etc.
Vervaco Needlepoint Kits
Italian Regional Playing Cards
Kawaii (I'm not particular about brand)
Yarn (natural fibers, although blends are fine)
Unique Knitting Needles and Crochet Hooks
Tea (All. For real.)
Elephants, foxes, deer, and owls
Woodland (critters, mushrooms, trees, logs, etc.)
Subversive cross stitch and embroidery
Candies and snacks from around the world
I don't care for:
I cannot tell you how much I hate Minions.
Knitting and crochet; cross stitch and embroidery; I'm getting into beading, but mostly to make stitch markers for knitting; cooking and baking; I can kind of sew a straight line, but I'm learning to do better; gardening; houseplants, including orchids and African violets
