About Me

My name is Amberlyn. I love to collect things. Such as boardgames, and Emma Frost comic books. I also love to scrapbook. I go to Pokemon Regionals each year that I can, and love to play the games, and re-watch the anime.

I am a creature of routine. However, I love to try new things. But, if said things are enjoyed, they just become apart of aforementioned routine.

My favorite colour is blue. My favorites insects are dragonflies.

I love to sing, and read graphic novels. I enjoy playing videogames. Anywhere from Katamari to Ikaruga.

I listen to all kinds of music. Lots of electronica, dance/disco, and industrial, really.

I am happy. I dislike confrontation, but more specifically any negative sorts. If it can be avoided, I will evade.

I am not a good person. Nor a bad one.

I have difficulties with endings. Storybooks, last notes of songs.. I am always wanting more. However, I learn to settle.

Favorite Books

Across The Wall, The Seventh Tower, Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Missing Piece Meets the Big O, The Extraordinary Egg, The Morganville Vampires, Bottomless Bellybutton, The Pellinor Books, and many more.

Favorite Movies

Blade Trilogy, Matrix Trilogy, Ghost World, Clean Slate, Igby Goes Down, Bicentennial Man, Miniority Report, Up, Toy Story 3, The Snow Queen, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, REPO: The Genetic Opera, RENT, Phantom of the Opera, American Beauty, The Hangover, Superbad, and many more.

Favorite Crafts

I love postcards, homemade, and bought, equally. I love them to have their own touch, but blank postcards are appreciated, too. Whether things are written on them, or quotes are quoted, stickers are stuck, or nothing at all is done to them, I love to stock and up, and collect, and remember. Even old postcards sent to you that you want to part with but have personal words to you. I will definitely take those.

I love jewelrey. Especially hemp. I'm known to sometimes be motivated to make hemp jewelrey, myself. I have both my ear lobes pierced, twice. I also have an eyebrow piercing. =]

I love stickers, of course. I want to fill up my walls with stickers, actually. So I buy alot of them, and will most likely send a lot of them.

I enjoy scrapbooking, so papers, and fun scissors, borders, anything that might help me out would be appreciated. I also send my scraps, and unused products as a result of this.

I love journaling and recieving journals. Same case with stationary. Pens, and markers. Pretty much anything you have to offer, I will love, and offer in return.

Favorite Music

I dabble in folk baroque, trance/disco/dance/industrial, electronica, powerpop, 60s-80s, and etcetera.

Tracy Chapman, Bread, Combichrist, Cruxshadows, DJ Tiesto, Milk Inc., Basshunter, God Module, Colbie Callait, Regina Spektor, City & Colour, Eye Alaska, The Medic Droid, Rocky Votolato, Zeromancer, Engelina, Ozric Tentacles, New Found Glory, Muse, The Postal Service, Imogen Heap, and others.

Enjoyments/Disappointments

I enjoy recieving teas, properly packaged, of course. Anything on my Etsy Wishlist, ribbons, letters, trinkets to hook on keychains or place on shelves, anything steampunk, children's books[collect!], memo pads, journals, stickers, scrapbook papers, fabrics, fun scissors, cross stitches, beauty products and cosmetics, any Pokemon-related items [except cards that are not foiled, or shiny. Those are useless to me. I do not play the TCG], all blue colored items, sad figurines, graphic novels, anything cracked that could be fixed up or loved by someone who takes care of junk, fiction/fantasy books, pictures, postcards, feathers, pressed flowers, dragonfly themed things, stationary, holiday cards, pinwheels, fortunes from fortune cookies, anything considered off-beat, and/or dark, zen, paint samples, etcetera.

I dislike recieving anything religious, as in pushed views, or bible verses. If it's easy going spiritual things, I am more lax. I dislike short letters, politics-themed things, food items that are not starburst or small candies and chocolates [just check with me on food], anything frilly, or frivilous, and etcetera. Just ask me if you are not sure if I will like something. I can definitely answer.

Comment: thanks for the fruit strips (my daughter loves those.. i get them for her from this little family owned dollar store down the road) and the bracelt was really pretty. Its hanging on my wall cuz it was way too big and I wouldnt know how to shorten it. It looks really nice and I like it so I keep it hanging up. the letter was really nice to recieve too! thankyou!
Response: You are so welcome! I was afraid you would not like the food items, but I decided "what the hell". Also, it is also way too big for me. I just kind of.. didn't stop myself. It can be a neckalace. Or you could double wrap it for a bracelet. However, more things to fill your wall are always good, too! Thank you for the five!
