I am an elementary art teacher, creative journaler, mother to two lovely girls and wife to my best friend of 18 years. I enjoy writing letters: using interesting postage stamps, fountain pens, shimmery ink, beautiful paper, and washi tape -oh how I love washi tape. I have given up on anyone I currently know writing back to me and have been forced to find a digital solution to my analog problem.

My favorite colors are moss green and dark purple. I like woodland themed things, foxes and hedgehogs, ferns and mushrooms. I like science and art and fairies.

I discovered swap-bot on a blog post about finding pen pals:) I'm 40 and new to penpaling. I've received 3 letters since I started about month ago and every-time I am so excited and left wondering why I didn't get into it sooner. I've sent 6 letters so I may be getting another any day now - what fun it's made checking the mail. I found an awesome German lady and 2 Swedes to write to. I'm looking forward to more connections to other analog lovers through this swap bot operation. Ugh I just have to slog through the digital process :)
