Here's a little joke for you, and kind of lets you get a picture of my day. A student gave me this gem: "Mrs. Cassidy, why did the man throw the clock out the window?" Me: "Why, I wouldn't even have a guess! No earthly clue! WHY?" Her: "Because he wanted to see if the time could FLY!!" Me: "Oh, hahaha!! FRESH! I guess you fooled me this time!" Lord, release me from this prison.
No, not pathetic, GREAT! (How bad do I look checking for your response the same day I wrote the comment?! hahah!) Actually, you were part of a little adventure, because after I wrote you that comment, our smoke detectors all went off and I had to call the fire department. They sent four guys over to check the house. No fire, thankfully. Four firemen. Not a bad way to start the morning, even if it does mean a loss of hearing.
