I’m Laurie…After working as a birth doula for 12 years I've decided to begin working towards my midwifery license.

A Northern girl born and bred, I’m now trying to stumble my way through life in Arkansas. I moved here about 4 years ago and I absolutely love living in the South!

I’m married to a John, a man who makes me laugh every day! We have two great dogs, Jake and Lola, who provide us with endless entertainment.

I especially love natural materials such as fabric, grasses, wood, fiber, feathers, stones, shells,glass,cork etc.

I love all colors but I'm especially fond of earth tones. If I had to choose just one color it would be purple.

I'm a Capricorn and my lucky numbers are 6 and 13.

I love elephants!

My favorite flower is the Lily...it doesn't matter which type or color...I just love them all!

I am a huge Les Misérables fan!!!

I like anything that shows your creative side...no matter the style!

Hearts: While many people on here disagree...I think using the hearts are great! It makes me feel really good every time I earn one!
