Favorite Crafts
I enjoy collecting dolls, mostly just their clothing right now. I am attempting to sew doll clothes -- I've got the patterns, fabric, notions, everything but the skill and ambition LOL.
I REALLY enjoy ATC swaps and matchbox swaps here. It's such a fun challenge to create something to fit the theme each time. And some of the themes are so creative!
Favorite colors and such
My favorite color is blue - all shades -- but my favorite color is "rainbow" because I really do like all the colors, and in the living room at least can pretty much make anything work!
I like all the usual "girly" things - French perfumes (they just smell the best), lace, flowers, romance. I also love animals, especially cats and dogs, and anything to do with children. I love vintage paper - scraps, cut out pictures, bits of old wrapping paper.
I'm not very "organized religion" religious but very spiritual in my own way. I'm very much a "live and let live" kind of person.
It's hard to be as specific as some folks are in their lists of "likes/dislikes". I think I tend to like more than I dislike :)

Response: Wrong! My favorite word was "chocolate", not "FANTASTIC"! LOL I'm so glad you liked the ATC.
Response: Sorry it was late. It was ready to go, I thought. Then I started worrying it wouldn't survive the Post Office without a backing. So I had to rework it a bit. I loved this theme, it was a real creative challenge to use anything BUT paper!
Response: Glad you liked it!
Response: Thank you, you are too kind. Wish you could see the fantastic cards folks sent to me. We have some truly talented folks joining the ATC swaps!
Response: Whew, you liked it. I have to admit, I struggled a bit with this theme. Found out I know much less about Victorian times than I realized. That's what makes the ATC swaps fun, the challenging themes folks come up with.
Response: Whenever someone says "I would give you more than one heart", they have given more than one heart. I'm glad you liked tea and stuff, the tea swaps are among my favorite swaps!
Response: You're very welcome. So glad you liked the card, I was hoping you'd "get" what it was about. And you did, yay!! :)
Response: I had fun making it. I love Van Gogh and once you've seen any of his paintings in person, you just never forget! Happy ATC-ing on Swap-Bot!
Response: I always mean to just send what the swap asks for, but then I start thinking how pitiful the little pile looks and try to find something to make it more :) If you need a good recipe to try out the teapot cookie cutter, I have the world's best rolled cookie recipe - my mom's. :) As for the extra heart, you just did give me one ;)
Response: My itty bitty artist baby doll likes to sleep in a tiny teacup, too! Glad one of your fairies will have a new home :) My baby found a tiny teacup and saucer shaped like cabbage leaves -- perfect for him. Glad I made you feel special -- you are, you know! So many nice people inhabit Swap-bot :)
Response: Now I know how to respond, I will LOL. You are most welcome. Wasn't that a fun theme for an ATC? Some just about make themselves and that's always fun!
Response: You are very welcome! Your profile said you liked dogs and he was feeling a bit intimidated here by all the cat figurines LOL.
Response: You are too kind! It was a fun theme to try and create something for -- without stopping to eat some ice cream every five minutes!
Response: I ended up eating my way through a half gallon carton. Couldn't stop thinking "ice cream".
Response: What a nice thing to say! I sure hope we get partnered up again!

Just to apologize once again for being late with my ATC swaps. I had to start an antibiotic treatment and wasn't prepared for how very rough it was going to be. I tried to get all my swaps out on time but got laid so low, I just couldn't even find where I'd put the finished ones. So I made them over and they are soooo late I'm still hanging my head in shame here. So sorry!!
I'm so glad you like the ATC! That was the 2nd ATC I've ever made, and the 1st rubber stamp I've carved, so I was just a teeny bit worried, lol X] Your kind comment has really encourged me, though. Thank you so much! =]
Raven, hello! And thank you for the kind comments. I LOVED the Brown Paper Bag Challenge Swap. Some ATCs just literally make themselves and those two surely did. Things With Wings was more of a challenge. I tried being creative and put wings on things that wouldn't really have them. Just didn't work for me, I wouldn't have wanted to get them in a swap LOL! So, back to the tried and true - airplanes have wings and I love the little skywriting planes. When you host another ATC swap, I'll be looking to see what the challenge is - the brown paper was great! So I'll be watching to see what you come up with next... Thanks again, non
