I like these reality TV shows:
Amazing Race, Chopped, Dancing with the Stars,
Hell's Kitchen & Kitchen Nightmares.
Added a new fav to the cooking shows: Sweet Genius. It's so weird -- well, in my day we'd say "camp", that it's fun LOL!
The English comedies on PBS and Eastenders.
I'm a big fan of The Big Bang Theory and Castle.
Favorite Crafts
Getting back to "normal", whatever that is. Eye problem is still, well, problematic. But I'm persevering as best I can. Swap-bot is such a wonderful thing to have in my life -- nicest people and sooooo talented! I wish we could post pictures of the ATCs we receive -- so many swappers really put the "artist" in ATC.
Favorite crafts have always been paper crafts and sewing. Have been trying my hand at ATCs again, with mixed results, but I'm going to keep trying 'til I improve! Enjoy sewing when I can, still dabbling a bit with painting 'cause it's so much fun!
Favorite colors and such
ALWAYS LIKE:
Plain ol' black tea and rich hot chocolate.
LOVE chocolate -- dark, milk, white.
Vintage anything -- ribbon, lace, paper, anything old and pretty.
Flowers and gardening.
French Perfume.
Sterling silver jewelry, especially heart charms.
Colorful anything.
DISLIKES:
No herbal teas.
Candy with nuts.
Religious items -- very respectful of all religions, just not an organized religion person. Very much "live and let live" and "do unto others".
Vampires and Goth items, gore, violence, horror.

Response: I'm not much of a real artist -- drawing, painting. But I am pretty good at cutting things out and gluing them onto paper. (giggle)

Response: Glad you liked my pictures. I've loved taking pics since I got my first camera. We won't say when that was. I have lots of little albums so I can separate pictures as I want them, rather than in one giant album. I was hoping you'd like it, could come in handy for more Photo swaps. :)
Response: I didn't have anyone handy to snap a picture of me -- and I usually come out looking, well, scary!!! I think our library is wonderful, I spend a lot of time there. I'm on Facebook, think my profile pic shows me as a I really look -- yikes! (giggle) Hope we're swap partners again one day.

Response: You are too kind. Seriously LOL. I struggled so hard on this ATC challenge. Had no idea it would be so hard or so different from just working with paper. But what doesn't kill you outright makes you stronger, right? Boy, am I strong after this one!! ROFL!

Response: Oh, thank you for the kind comment! So glad it arrived. I decorated the front, folded it, then realized I didn't leave any room for stamps. I wasn't sure my envelope was "art" -- my artistic talent consists of cutting and pasting (I really did learn all I need to know in kindergarten LOL). "Rainbow" is my favorite color and folk art is my favorite art style, so I tried for a happy medium. :) Thanks for such a fun swap! Loved the theme.

You're so welcome, Mona. I do want something in return, though. I want you to mail me a postcard when you make the trip! Yard sales, garage sales, selling stuff on Craigslist or Ebay -- where there's a will, there's a way. I KNOW you will get there.
