Favorite colors and such
My favorite color is blue - all shades -- but my favorite color is "rainbow" because I really do like all the colors and in the living room at least, I can pretty much make anything work!
I like all the usual "girly" things - French perfume (they just smell the best), lace, flowers, romance. I also love animals especially cats and dogs and anything to do with children. I love vintage paper - scraps, stickers, cut out pictures. I'm not very religious but very spiritual in my own way. I'm very much a "live and let live" kind of person. Do your best and keep on doing :)
It's hard to be as specific as some folks are in their lists of "likes/dislikes". I think I tend to like more than I dislike :)
Ratings
Response: Thank you for the low rating. All you had to do was message me about only receiving one and I would have sent you another immediately. I must be weird, I don't like to leave low marks for other people. I always assume they're doing their best, being just human and all. Again, thanks and a Merry Christmas to you, too. Perhaps you could give the next poor soul the benefit of the doubt and contact them. I think my ratings show how hard I try to go above and beyond the requirements of a swap. I wondered if it was time to give this up, think you've helped me decide.
Response: Your oh-so-late card is on its way to you. Again, I apologize for the delay. I've never taken this medicine before and I hope to Heaven I never have to take it again. Thank you for your patience. Hope you'll like my poor little card anyway... (insert sad little face here)
Response: You are sooo kind. Well, duh! It's right there as part of your name :)
Response: Sorry your card is late but it is finally on its way. I apologize for the delay.
Response: Glad you liked them, they were the little souvenir teapots, right? This was a fun swap, hope it comes up again! :)
Response: Speechless -- me, too! As for giving a million hearts, you did :) Soooo glad you liked it. You did like it, didin't you? :) BTW, you are most welcome!
Response: Glad you liked the shirt, it's from my part of the country. We're just a little bit "country" here :) It's funny your boyfriend likes the green shirt, I was kind of thinking one for you, one for a friend! How did he know?! :) Glad you liked everything, it was going to be more but the postage is so high now, takes a lot of fun out of international swaps :(
Response: Well, I tried hard for a heart! :) Guess I didn't quite make it. My cards are kind of "love 'em, hate 'em". I tried to tailor them to your profile. Did you like the Mickey Mouse one? I'll just have to try harder on future swaps...
Response: Ah, you made my day! You even liked the envelope :)
Response: This swap had a great theme, I think. The cards just about made themselves, they were sooo much fun to make!
Response: Mine, too. That area by the railroad tracks is being developed, lots of new condos going up. So the Van Lines building may not be there much longer. Glad we got to preserve it! The old garage is here in my neighborhood, lots of older workman homes that still have the original one-car garage out back - still being used! :)
Response: It's a great place to visit. The pterodactyls are actually flying up overhead - kids love it! There's also a butterfly room next to the cafeteria, you watch them while you munch your food! Glad I got to share it with you. Ever in Raleigh NC, it's worth a look :)
Response: I suspect most of us "crafty" folks are only too happy to share our snips of paper and pictures! (They do tend to pile up rather fast...) :)
Comments
Just to apologize once again for being late with my ATC swaps. I had to start an antibiotic treatment and wasn't prepared for how very rough it was going to be. I tried to get all my swaps out on time but got laid so low, I just couldn't even find where I'd put the finished ones. So I made them over and they are soooo late I'm still hanging my head in shame here. So sorry!!
I'm so glad you like the ATC! That was the 2nd ATC I've ever made, and the 1st rubber stamp I've carved, so I was just a teeny bit worried, lol X] Your kind comment has really encourged me, though. Thank you so much! =]
Raven, hello! And thank you for the kind comments. I LOVED the Brown Paper Bag Challenge Swap. Some ATCs just literally make themselves and those two surely did. Things With Wings was more of a challenge. I tried being creative and put wings on things that wouldn't really have them. Just didn't work for me, I wouldn't have wanted to get them in a swap LOL! So, back to the tried and true - airplanes have wings and I love the little skywriting planes. When you host another ATC swap, I'll be looking to see what the challenge is - the brown paper was great! So I'll be watching to see what you come up with next... Thanks again, non
First I see that you are in my Brown Paper Bag Challenge swap and I want to Thank you for joining my swap and hope that you had fun with it.I see that you got some very good ratings for this swap. Now I must say what a wonderful atc that you sent for the Things with Wings, loved the ideal of the airplane, and so many extras this was a wonderful package..You are a great swapper and I hope to swap with you again..Thanks So very much
