I am very excited to be a member of swap-bot! I must say thanks to my friend in Toronto who told me about this neat site and that she gets mail almost every day - wow, who doesn't love mail! (Unless it's a bill, of course)

A little bit about me... well, I'm a French teacher by day, and I love speaking and writing in French and traveling to Paris, where I used to live for 3 years. I moved back to Canada when I realized the man that I was going to marry had been in my hometown waiting for me all along. (We've now been married for over 7 years and counting...and we now have 2 children, Johnny who is 2 and Naomi who is 3 months old.)

About my user name... "chou chou" is a term of endearment in French. It is the pet name I use when I talk to my little boy who is now 2 old. :) (It is pronounced "shoe shoe"!)

Eiffel Towers & anything & everything relating to Paris and France (my husband recently pointed out to me that there is some sort of Eiffel Tower in EVERY room in the house!)

My favorite craft is making handmade note cards! If you ever want to send me a handmade card, I'd love it! They always make me happy!

I have fun using my embossing heat gun and glittery powders on paper crafts to make things shiny and bright.

my brown lop-eared pet bunny named Nibbles! (she's almost 7) and anything with cute little bunnies on them

traveling all over the world (but I've only been France, England, Holland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and some of the Northern U.S... I've certainly got a lot more to see!) I also like stamps and travel themed items

CUPCAKES - my most recent obsession, thanks to swap-bot... I'm like the cupcake monster! I also love to make and collect cupcake note cards, rubber stamps, stickers, ATCs, any paper craft with cupcakes! The kawaii style ones are super cute too.

I just discovered kawaii too! I like the pictures of food and objects with the little faces on them and I love kawaii letter sets.

Stationery and cute letter sets with matching envelopes - not so much a fan of solid color letter sets.

Reading swap-bot profiles and doing my best to tailor the swaps I do to try to give you something that will make YOU smile! They also inspire me, and give me neat ideas, especially when I'm making ATCs.

My favorite holiday is Valentine's day, because there is so much pink everywhere, and Easter because there are cute bunnies galore!

Being neat, tidy and organized. I always try to package my swaps nicely and include a little note, and to do each one to the best of my ability. I love getting feedback on the swaps I send, and I try not to take it personally when I don't. (but, boy, it's hard to not take things personally when you put your little heart into it!)

When I'm not teaching or marking, or chasing after my kiddies, I'm usually watching a movie with my husband. We try to go to the movies at least once every couple of weeks. (I also keep a journal of all the movies I see or rent and rate them on a scale of 1 to 5!) Some of my favorite movies are Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, The Hurt Locker, No Country For Old Men, The Departed, Pixar films and I love foreign movies too.
