Hello! I am four gnomes in a trenchcoat A.k.a. Abi! I live in Canada and work as a barista. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, sculpting, and writing. Recently I have been focusing on sculpting and turning my creations into jewelry. I have been selling them at some local markets too! I love to collect all types of stickers and have made some of my own stickers too!

A NOTE! Both my mom and I are on this site and since we live at the same home, we have the same address. I do not have a second profile it is just my mom ( @fierycanuck ). While we do enjoy similar swaps we are not the same person!

My favorite book genre to read is fantasy. My favorite is rewritten fairytales. I love how authors are able to take a well-known story and rewrite it in a way that you never quite know where it is going.

My top two books are the lie tree by Frances Hardinge and seven wonders by peter lerangis

recently my co-worker has gotten me into romance so if you have any suggestions send them my way!

I am a huge fan of action movies! I love the fast pace and the suspense of them.

I usually will watch the same two movies or and over again until I can predict the next line of each movie, then I find two new movies and start the process over again.

the two movies I switch through right now are:

and Robin Hood (2018)

I also like to watch animated cartoons with my Mom and younger sister. our current favorites are: Miraculous Ladybug

I love jewelry making, drawing, watercolors, letter writing, postcard making, sticker making, and sculpting with polymer clay.

Currently, I am making polymer clay charms and am really enjoying that!. My current favorites are some goldfish in a bag that I made using polymer clay and resin, along with some glow-in-the-dark UFOs with cows. Some of the things other things I have been making can be found on Etsy at Fromtheart.

I have recently discovered the joys of making envelopes! so most of the envelopes I send I have made and decorated myself! I Have also been making tags, pocket envelopes, and snail-mail folders too.

I have recently branched out into pressing flowers and using them in crafts. So if you have any advice or have some you would like to send along to me I would greatly appreciate it!

Honestly, I can not think of something that I would not enjoy receiving. I just get excited about getting mail at all! I will not lower my rating if I did not like something you send. I would much rather receive something that brings you joy and that you enjoy sending. Don't stress it! anything I won't use will either be given to my siblings or will be used in another swap.

I am super interested in history and other cultures so if you write me a letter please tell me about your culture, religion or local history.

If you are sending to me in a postcard swap, I prefer blank postcards. not stamped and not written on unless the swap calls for something different. the only postcards I will not use/enjoy are city/province/attraction postcards. I have no use for them and it feels a little weird to me to send someone a touristy postcard for a place I have never or will never go to.

I love trying new snacks and drinks so if you have anything you think I haven't tried please send it along!

I love tea! especially iced teas as I usually forget I made myself tea so it is cold by the time I have finished it.

I love coffee! I prefer sweet coffee but am willing to try any new types at least once.

I also like drink powders! they are a little hard for me to find but there are so many I have not tried yet that I would love to try!
