I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I'm not a southerner by birth, but I got here as soon as I could, and I'm learning all of the hallmarks of good Southern Hospitality little by little. I enjoy reading, spending time in the garden (I'm not talented enough to call what I do actual gardening), cooking (I like making tasty stuff, but it's definitely not fancy stuff), traveling, and spending time with those that I am close to. I love beautiful things, and making things more beautiful. Decorating my house and making it a home makes me feel calm and happy. My life is full, and my blessings are abundant. Thanks be to God!
A little bit of everything. My Ipod on shuffle would definitely turn some heads (and ears) in surprise! I love to dance, so anything with a catchy beat will keep me tuned in. I'm a definite car dancer, and I sing (badly) in the shower. Right now two songs that I really like on the radio are One Republic "Good Life" and Pitbull and Neyo "Tonight". My fave song to jam while driving alone is Lux Aeterna "Requiem for a Dream" by Clint Mansell, as loud as I can stand it. Pretty random, eh?
Home decor, especially DIY home decor and repurposing, painting, and I've recently started to learn to sew and knit, with the help of a dear friend who actually encouraged me to join swap-bot!
