Hi, from Nova Scotia, Canada on another cold, windy night... sounds like the start of a horror novel LOL
I'm hoping the power doesn't go off before I get all of these hellos posted.
I'm not scared of the dark I actually find it peaceful, I just cuddle under the blankets with my dog and fall asleep.
I hope you are finding lots of swaps and having fun on this site,
Take care, Liz
Hello there!
We have a lot in common! I love crochet, and hooking rugs! Right now I am making one with two wolves on it. Do you travel often? I visited almost every state on my last road trip!
I like spell check when it underlines misspelled words in red, not when it just changes them to what it thought I meant. I have a wife who takes care of the "thought I meant" part quite nicely. :-)
I see that we are neighbors -- at least in spirit -- of the Northeast. Unfortunately, this past summer here was pretty uncomfortable. It was 90 degrees or more and humid almost every day from mid-June through August. Being so near (Five miles, as the crow flies) the coast, we don't usually get that until August and then only a few days at a time. I was seriously seeking shade most of the summer.
I was doing most of my outside work early in the morning, then spending a lot of time hiking through the nice thick woods. Out back yard borders 800+ acres of conservation land, with miles of trails. I also spent too much time in my relatively cool cellar, at my work bench and on my Ham Radios.
I have visited AZ several times. Our older daughter did an Internship at the Children's Hospital there and my brother-in-law and sister-in-law live in Cave Creek. I swear that, if I hear "But, it's a dry heat" one more time, i'm never going back. We do enjoy visiting, but I could never live there.
I too need my snow. It is pretty and cool and I love snowshoeing. I like to go out early in the morning and shoe to the pond, that is about a mile from my house, to see the sunrise. I also like to snowshoe to the ridge, that is about two miles away, for the sunset.
My wife worries that I am going to die out there alone at night. My response is "What better place? I just hope its a story night".
It is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.

It is 3:59 am here in Livingston, Texas where it is deciding that we need to have a proper winter! lol Meaning it is 39 degrees outside, storming and the temps are still dropping. I am so missing the winters where we wore shorts on Christmas day! I hope that you have a wonderful day!
HUGS-
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Sorry, My last was for: Newbie Friendly - Profile Hello #10 [I'm not having a good morning here. Perhaps another cup of coffee.]
That should have been "Starry" night, not story.
