NOTE :

Regarding swaps... very important request to all partners who send to me: I have to ask that my partners write somewhere inside of the swap the specific swap name for which they're sending me. Just a piece of paper that says, "swap name: x, sent by: x" would suffice. I have received several swaps with absolutely no information, which makes it very difficult for me to rate, especially when I may be participating in several similar swaps concurrently (i.e. postcards, scrap papers, random surprises, etc). Please do this to insure you get the rating due to you. It may seem to you that it would be obvious, but that may not be the case on my end, Thank you!:)

If for some reason you do not receive a swap from me please contact me before rating. I will be happy to replace any swaps if they don't turn up .. but I promise you that I will fulfill all my swaps owed .

My name is Ria Cabral, but everyone either calls me RC or Ree. I'm twenty-five years old, female and a student with Devry university working towards a Technical Management Degree in Criminal Justice. I'm interested in a career after graduation as a crime scene investigator or any type of work with Travel and Law Enforcement.

• embroidered patches of states and places with in the usa. do they sell these international ? they must do.. I would love to collect them from all over the world and sew on to a fleece blanket....

• Native American Indian arts and Native American Kachinas, Navajo Kachinas, Kokopelli.

• collect tea and coffee from around the world..Small sample bags always welcome and I also collect coffee mugs.

• Anything to do with Hot air balloons.

• Decorated matchboxes.

•( USA state license plates)

• foreign objects- things from other countries.

• Old handwritten photos and letters - ( can be original or photocopies).

• Candles and neat candle holders.

• Printable stationery, handmade greetings cards and envelopes.

• ATCS and any craft items that I can use for atc's.

• anything to do with art and photography.

• Postcards to include handmade, sharpie marker postcard art and art postcards from recycled magazine clippings.

•anything to do with the usaf especially the f117 and f22.

•Flowers - especially pressed flowers, daffodils, sunflowers, lilys . Nature and landscapes.

• Animals in general to include ocean life and African animals.

• Pond life and lily pads.

• dotee dolls.

I want to put together a book and hopefully get it published, that displays the importance of correspondence and looks at mailart in detail.

The book will be a delightful showcase of exciting and contemporary mailart envelopes and postcards , with examples that feature a wide array of techniques And materials used , including: sewing, stencils and stamping, drawing, painting and most of all Garbage art from recycled materials.
