OMG!!! I received my TD Jan/Feb wishlist surprise today and it totally made my day :) The poem is great - it reminded me of some freestyle poetry slams stuff that I have heard here and couldn't read it without a beatbox beat popping up in my head :) The notebook is gorgeous and will def be put to good use - thank you for my wishy :)

Hi! I got you for the Team Darkness My Profile or Yours? Swap, but I already kinda know you due to Whedon crosswords and other swaps. :) So I decided to poke around your Flickr! I really like your ATCs! And those decorated tins are so cool. I've never done one, but I might be inspired now.

I totally agree about making things that people usually buy. I'm trying to learn to sew knit fabric on my new machine so I can make underwear and t-shirts! And I have a soymilk maker, which is awesome and cost effective. :) I noticed you didn't like Amelie in your French movie likes. Did you not see it, or not like it? I saw it when I was 23 (as she is in the movie) and fell in love with it. I love the 'new' Doctor Who too, but I decided to watch all the old ones. Just saw the first ep (140 minutes) and it was PAINFULLY bad, lol. Can't wait for the new Matt Smith season. You should click this pic, it's funny:

One more thing! I was almost named Emily after a Laura Nyro song (I was named after another of her songs instead). If you've never heard "Emmie" you totally should. YouTube to the rescue!!

salut et hi, i am your partner for the td profile swap. love your winter socks on the flickr pic! what is eleuthero tea? uh the last time i have seen bosch-"paintings" was in an art exhibition called melancholie, it was about the middle age and the renaissance, about the 4 water diseases they believed in the past had every human in the body. hm dont know the exact word. do you like dürer? its not so dark and apocalyptic.
my only experience with handmade cosmetic is i buy olive oil - really good one- and use it, on my skin or my hair. but i dont mix it. and the bottles are so big so its really cheap instead of a normal face cream.

the only book you mentioned i know is from stieg larsson, that was a hit here too. my brother introduced me to the pogues when i was younger, love to listen to them.

you have an interesting profile, see you soon!

Hellooooo!

I'm one of your partners for the TD profile comments swap.

I have to say you and I have very little in common. Haha!

Kudos to you for being enviromentally aware :) That rocks!

And I'm jealous that you can speak French. I can introduce myself and say the alphabet. that's about it, but I'd love to learn more of it.

I live in South Africa; the home of Rooibos tea, so if you ever want to do a swap, feel free to ask.

Have a fantastic week!

Hello! I've been wanting to get involved in lip balm and bath salt making for a while. The start-up seems to be a little pricey since certain essential oils can get pricey. There is a shop on Etsy called "For Strange Women" that makes all sorts of neat bath/beauty products. I really like their lip balms.

I like your philosophy on functional crafts as I feel the same way, but mostly about food. It's irritating how everything is pre-packaged these days.

I have been wanting to read the Omnivore's Dilemma and anything by Margaret Atwood. Have you read the Virgin Suicides by any chance? I have that and Middlesex currently on my wishlist.

The bracelets in your shop are so pretty! Very vibrant and full of energy.

It was nice meeting you!
Manda

Hey! You're one of my partners for the Team Darkness "Let's Meet" swap. We've already met, so hi! How's it going? I've probably already told you I love your profile. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of my favorite movies ever.

Thanks so much for the yummy chocolate and stickers for my January wishes at Granting Wishes. The chocolate is all gone and now I can use the cute tin. I promise I'll eat my veggies too!!!
