I live in New York. I'm an aspiring comedy writer but I make my living as a calligrapher. I collect lunchboxes, Swatches, cute and interesting change purses, handbags, mice (since I was a little kid,) socks (especially funky novelty ones...in US sizes, I wear a 9-11 women's sock,) shoes, and other funky, cool, and kitschy things. I love metallic leather. I am an anglophile and love all things relating to England (especially London.) I love decaf lattes from Starbucks. I do like some really good chocolate (usually milk and white chocolate...yes I know white chocolate isn't really chocolate) and among my faves are Cadbury Flakes...regular and Snowflakes (too bad they don't make them over here, but then again our Cadbury isn't like UK Cadbury...don't even get me started.)

I'm a total music junkie. My interests range from Britpop to early Motown, and lots of stuff inbetween, including, but not limited to, pop, classic rock, some top 40 stuff, jazz, indie, etc. My fave musical artists include The Beautiful South, The Housemartins, The Who, U2, the Lucksmiths, Squeeze, Elvis Costello, Paul Weller, Billy Bragg, the Divine Comedy, Travis, etc. I love Mix CDs and I love covers of songs (total guilty pleasure.)

I love TV...sitcoms, britcoms, some dramas. Some favorite TV shows (past and present) include: The Brady Bunch, Letterman, The Office (the UK and US versions,) Coupling (UK,) Curb Your Enthusiasm, Friends, Six Feet Under, Alias, Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order: SVU, Dexter, The Big Bang Theory, The Real Housewives (all of them,) Top Chef, Boardwalk Empire, etc.

I love to read. My favorite authors include: Nick Hornby, David Sedaris, Helen Fielding, Ben Elton, Stephen Fry, Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare, and John Donne just to name a few. That's quite an eclectic mix...hehe

I love movies...mostly romantic comedies, but I like some dramas, too. Some faves include: Can't Buy Me Love, Valley Girl, The Usual Suspects, Notting Hill, High Fidelity, American Beauty, Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, Clueless, and Love Actually!
