I love crafty things. My favourite colour is probably red. I really love hearts. I like to patchwork and I love to use any type of fibre and make journal covers, etc. I paint, sew and like to take photos. I love anything that has texture and love gold on fabrics and love anything metallic or shimmery in general. My craft room is crammed full of probably useless items 'just in case' I need them ;-)

I like any type of music but not 'screamo' as my daughter puts it. I have liked Niel Diamond since I was a kid and like all the oldies, Joe Cocker, Neil Young, Springsteen and I live the male opera singers, Il Devo, Bochelli etc. I also like Australian David Campbell. I have to listen to anything new and popular in my car because I have a 16yr old daughter so I don't get a choice.

My favourite types of books are crime novels particularly forensic based fiction. I also love to read biographies and true crime.

Not a great television watcher but like the British comedy shows and any of the craft shows - of course !

I am 45 yrs old. I live in Victoria, Australia. I have a husband and 1 daughter. I work full time and usually work shift work. I have recently found this site and quite like the idea of it ... what else would I do with the stuff I make if I couldn't sent it to someone like minded!!
I love making art quilts but am a newbie at that and have found a wonderful on line quilting class (quiltuniverity dot com). I have been quilting for about 4-5 years and have gone away from traditional peicing to free flowing art quilts.
