Hey, I am a Southern gal crafting and baking it up in Arkansas. I work for a non-profit company in the Human Resources department, and while I really like my job, I need some creative outlets! So I love to bake and decorate cakes and cupcakes (I have even made a few bucks on wedding cakes recently....) and I love all types of crafty things: card making, scrapbooking, painting, decopauging, etc. I have two chocolate labs (Gracie and Maggie) that I love and are like my children. I love to make collars for them and enjoy trying out recipes for homemade dog treats, too. I have a huge crush on anything/one Asian and would be happy in a world where everything I own had a little smiley face on it!(kawaii!!) And I have to admit, I love anything Sanrio. It is really hard to find authentic Sanrio/Hello Kitty stuff where I live and I can easily spend hours browsing for Sanrio stuff on ebay. I have recently become intrested in bento as well. As I mentioned, I love doing cake decorating and the bento boxes with the little shaped foods remind me of the frosting techniques. Favorite things to eat are dark chocolate and sweets! (in that order!) My favorite color is PINK, but I also love turquise and chocolate brown (or all 3 together!). I am very girly and usually think everything looks better with glitter. My hobbies are spending time with my labs and yoga (besides crafting.)

I am interested in learning more about using crafty ideas to decorate my house and my industrial glue gun is my best friend! I love making original quirky cards for my friends and I think that a cool gift box and/or packing can be the best part of a gift sometimes.

I love anything Jane Austen, my favs are Emma and Pride and Prejudice. I also enjoy historical novels like those by Phillipa Gregory for light reading. Another fav is Kimberly Wilson's book Hip Tranquil Chick. (I am addicted to yoga!!)
