About Me

I am married and have raised four children. Three sons and a daughter. I majored in art and my daughter followed in my footsteps but is much better than I am. I live in west-central Illinois across the river from St. Louis. I have a dog named Zoe that is spoiled rotten. I collected snowmen and santas but have to stop because I have no more room for them. I love doing crafts of any kind and have been doing them since I was about 9 years old.

Favorite Music

I love celtic music and music from the 60's thru the 80's. My favorite cd's are Sons of Somerset, Enya, Charolette Church and also Bob Denver.

Favorite Books

I love to read except that I am a speed reader so a book will only last me 2-3 days. I like books of about any kind from a good mystery to romance. Some of my favorite authors are James Patterson, Dean Koontz, Johanna Lindsay, Nora Roberts and John Grisham.

Favorite Movies

Love comedies, romance, mystery and action movies. I especially like them if they have all those rolled into one.

Favorite Television

My favorite TV shows are Law and Order, CSI, Without a Trace, Criminal Minds and Nip Tuck.

Favorite Crafts

I love crafts of about any kind. My favorites are cardmaking, stamping and scrapbooking. I also love painting, decoupage, sewing, jewelry making and woodworking. I like leaded glass but it tears the heck out of your hands. My favorite colors are neutrals (greens,tans,browns) I also like golds, blacks, and reds.

Wish List

Brads of any size color or shape especially cutesy ones.

Embossing powders.

Any embellishments that can be used on cards charms, buttons, ribbons etc.

Rubber and Acrylic stamps "I love stamps" mounted or unmounted new or used.

Ink pads new or used as long as they still work.

ATC's, inchies and small items.

Deco tape.

Candles or wax tarts - fresh clean scents.

Good writing gel pens or glitter pens.

Teas (no green) hot chocolate and coffee.

Vintage & Botanical Ephemera.

Asian (anything, love Asian things).

Card making magazines.

If anyone would like to have a private swap I have all sorts of scrapbooking and card making supplies loads of paper in all varities and sizes, embellishments of all kinds, stickers, albums, etc. you name it for scrapbooking and I got it. Hi Mary,

I've noted at the forum that I received your RAK but wanted to send you a personal thank you as well. My husband and I have had a rough week because we found out that his cancer is getting worse. While that's not a huge surprise it is very scary. So to receive such a fun package really touched my heart and made me not only happy but made me break out into a huge smile. :-) Thank you so very much!!

As I noted at the forum, I've got the skull socks on right now and I totally adore the note cards. The saying on them is actually similar to the mantra I've been using for the last year but the cards say it better: Don't Count The Days...Make The Days Count.
