I am an ex-pat, originally from Arkansas (yes it really is a place), now happily living in the Netherlands (aka Holland). I am just getting into ATCs and found this wonderful site.

Drawing and painting (watercolor and ink, acrylic, mixed media), papier mache, collage and assemblage, recycled and found object art, art journaling, altered books, sewing = costume making, children crafts and scrappy quilting projects, comic book illustration, computer illustration

Old bottles, old medical paraphernalia, boxes of all sizes shapes and doesn't matter what they are made of, junk jewelery, silver, old silverware, lace, velvet, gauzy things, bits of ribbon or string, rusty bits, old watches and their innards, old iron, birds (though not the tropical types), old photos, old books or handwritten letters, things with texture, black, white, red, purple, off-white, grey and anything with with that sickly greenish patina to it, old postage and envelopes, post cards, hat pins, skeleton keys, old locks, distressed things, rubber stamps and almost anything anyone has drawn by hand.

People who don't make an effort. Pastels or pink as a primary color anyone who wears a tiara or carries a dog in a purse.
