I'm a SAHM - only 8 months new at it though! My baby boy was born in March 2009 and is a pure delight!

I'm a Horticulturalist by trade, but for the past few years been working as Personal Assistant & Executive Assistant.

I am also a family person, have a big family, am one of 6 kids and we are all really close. I live in Victoria, Australia in a regional city 250km north of Melbourne. But my husband and I have lived mostly in Melbourne and more recently in Sydney. But now back in my home area & close to family and friends. I am also a christian.

My love is plants, earthly things, creativeness through sewing & embroidery and any other crafty things like knitting, card making, beading etc. Will have a go at anything & love making practical things and gifts!

I'm also a lover of Modern Cloth Nappies (MCN) and have made all my son's nappies - see blog.

My favourite colour is Green - represents nature and the earth!

I have a fascination with birds, only with craft though not the real live ones! which is kind of weird as I have a phobia of chooks, geese, swans, ducks. But I love embroidery birds, sticker birds, fabric with birds...

I love all kinds of music and play the piano! Mostly love Dixie Chicks, John Denver, Andre Rieu, Ben Harper, DC Talk, Brooke Fraser, Fleetwood Mac, Hillsong, Gossling, Jars of Clay.

• A good cup of tea! Shared with family & friends and especially my husband at night after dinner and when bubs is in bed! Especially love English Breakfast Tea, strong, black & Green tea. Love all herbal teas too. Any time is cup of tea time!

• Our Golden Retriever dog, Bella. Beautiful, lovely natured dog. And especially good around our baby too!

• Walking, swimming, yoga & spin cycle classes.

• Farm life - grew up on a dairy farm, loved milking the cows, feeding the calves, driving the tractor & just enjoying the lovely fresh country air!

*Driving - especially day drives, holiday drives - anywhere I can sit & chat with my husband and listen to good music!

*Organic products - especially skincare & especially AUSTRALIAN made.

*Fabric - love all kinds of patterned fabrics (any fat quarters) & love minkee/minky fabric for making cloth nappies.

*Lipbalms, can't leave the house without one. Don't like the real sticky ones though and not a fan of lipstick.

*Can't leave the house without water, lipbalm and tissues!

Just so you know, I like to recycle all my mail packaging - so you may receive your parcel in a recycled envelope or postal pack. I always ask the Post Office to put on Australian stamps as I know many people love collecting stamps and especially from other countries.

I'm vegetarian, well eat chicken and fish - but mainly have a vegetarian diet, so would prefer no meat recipes, unless chicken or fish.

I love milk chocolate, rocky road is my favourite and love any with caramel centres. Oh, but I have just joined Weight Watchers (Oct 09) as need to lose a few baby weight kilos, so maybe I shouldn't add I love chocolate! Oh well, everyone has to have an indulgence.
