Hi Laura. Just dropping by for the TD "your profile or mine," swap! Your girls look so cheerful in your pic. Maybe its all the good books you read with them? Maybe it's your sense of humor! Maybe it's all the cupcakes... ah, I bet that's it.
I haven't made cupcakes since I was in high school. I sort of prefer cookies because I know how to make them easily with less fuss. But people like me are your customers... there's nothing like a cupcake... and a little cup of tea. Now I'm hungry. We have a place here that sells mini cheesecakes... they are so good. Maybe when your girls are older they will get penpals. It's a really fun thing to do as a kid. Some of my penpals were like best friends to me when I was in middle school.
I am curious, are you enjoying Pride and Prejudice? My mother and grandmother really liked it but I will always be an Emma girl!
Oh, one more thing: here in the U.S. a lot of people call "badges" "buttons" or "pinback buttons". I thought I'd mention it, in case 'badges' confuses some people. I love the differences between British and American English. :)
Hi! Green is my favorite color too! Though orange sometimes beats it out recently, it's been my fav since I was a kid. My mom still complains about how hard it was to find green little girl clothes in the early 80s, hehe. I also love True Blood, dark chocolate, cupcakes, and making ice cream; though my cupcakes and ice cream are vegan. :)
Your kids are cute and remind me of my nieces (4 and 2 yrs) who I am away from for the semester. I miss them! Their mom is on SB and I will PM her and ask if the 4 yr old wants to swap ATCs with your daughter. My niece has made a few in the past, but I'm not sure if she's still interested. Nice meeting you! I also love Disney movies. Don't you think it's sad that the world has turned to digital movies and has lost that classic "imperfection" that made animated films so wonderful.
