I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world. We have two fun and creative boys and a beautiful baby girl. I'm a stay-at-home mom and my kindergartner. I love craft stuff. I also love to make baked goods like cakes, pies, cookies. I'm learning to decorate cakes. Sometimes its good, sometimes, not so much! I like to plan parties and make favors, as well. I also love to read.

Anything by Karen Hancock, The Cradleland Chronicles by Douglas Hirt, Any Jane Austin novel, Vatta's War series by Elizabeth Moon, Jane Eyre, The Count of Monte Cristo, Les Miserables, Agatha Christy mysteries, there's more, but that would be a lot of typing!:) Totally not into horror or paperback romance.

Mostly Christian - World Wide Message Tribe, Newsboys, Third Day, Kirk Franklin, Veggie Tales:), Kutlass, etc. I like certain classical pieces. Mostly the ones people typically play at weddings. There are many scores to movies that I like, too. Amistad, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, etc.

Scrapbooking (I have three albums I'm trying to keep up with and as usual, I'm way behind!), making my own cards, making bookmarks, really most paper crafts are fun. I sew, but haven't ventured into clothing, except I have made my own all in one, one size cloth diapers, yet. So far, I've made pillows, table runners, napkins, things of that nature. I will eventually get to clothing, but it'll be a bit. I also do stamping on occasion. I crochet and am in the process of learning to knit.

I'm a sci-fi girl - Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, Dr. Who, you know the more quirky sci-fi. I also like Monk, Psych. Any period British series on Masterpiece Theater or BBC.

Most of the Jane Austin movies are favorites, some don't make the cut because they were NOT well made! Amazing Grace and I know there are more, but I honestly can't think of them right now. I'll just have to update as my memory allows.

I really like black, white, tan, cream, browns, natural earth tones, greens and reds. My favorite combo is chocolate brown with mint green. So pretty!

My favorite scents are lemon, orange, lime, chamomile, rosemary mint. I don't like flowery or fake food smells.

lemon is my absolute favorite, but orange, lime and strawberry are close seconds. I like dark chocolate better than milk chocolate, but I don't like either by themselves, i.e. a plain Hershey's bar. I like for there to be nuts, caramel, peanut butter, etc. I really like non-chocolate candies the best. My favorite candies are snickers, sprees, starbursts, cherry licorice, blow pops. I do like tart. I don't drink hot tea, but I am an avid drinker of sweet tea. I am not a coffee drinker, though I do like coffee flavored foods like icecream, cookies, pies, cakes. (Yep, my sweet tooth is quite developed.....) Now I will say that my husband is VERY partial to both and likes to try new flavors. We like to shop at Whole Foods, Trader Joes and World Market and if you are my partner and have an interesting flavored coffee or tea you would like to send, it won't be a disappointment in the least because I love to share with my hubby.:) I do like hot chocolate and hot apple cider, though.

I love surprises! I love to try new things. I love handmade things. I also like store bought things. I don't like lacy or overly frilly things, though I do like feminine looking things. I'm not into hearts or most "girly" type patterns, like floral. I'm really into patterns like polka dots, stripes, plaids, etc.and textures like super soft feeling things. I do like shiny things; I'm a Christmas ornament fanatic! I buy a lot of ornaments made in India, hence the shiny.:) I don't like Santa themed things. I prefer angels, bells, stars, trees, etc. I don't like Halloween stuff, but I do like fall themed things. I don't like toe-socks cuz they make my toes hurt, but I'm up for any other style! As long as it doesn't have Halloween or Santa stuff on it, I'm good. I'm not picky about colors where clothing items are concerned because I like getting stuff I wouldn't normally get myself. It makes it fun. Oh, yes and I love vintage toys, crafts, foods. For instance, I love to shop in the Cracker Barrel store because they have such neat things.
