I am 30, yikes. Lives with my man in an apartment in the middle of town. Even though I love living so close to everything, I do miss a nice view out the windows. I try to get down to the lake and the woods as much as possible, don't you love the smell of earth and trees and water?

Our home:

For some reason a color scheme emerged in our current apartment. Hues of green (mostly pale or spring greens) together with a slightly dark red hue, white, black and wood. That's when I went the other way and made our bedroom all a warm dark blue! Crazy, I know, but we like it. We also like to keep our place roomy, so no clutter on the surfaces please! A few pretty things but that's enough. New things ought to be handmade, knowing that another persons skill made it is so wonderful, and the item should be both beautiful and useful.

Wearables:

Look into my wardrobe and you'll see clothes in shades from black and brown to white, some pink and lighter shades of green. I'm trying to stick to a scheme to make it easier to match.. guess I've seen too many styling shows on tv. I love jewelry and need to find a good way to store everything I have. You won't find any earrings in my collection though, I never got my ears pierced. I want my jewelry to accent what else I have on, not to dominate, and since I dress in pretty simplistic clothes (but with pretty details or lines) you can imagine my kind of jewelry I think :)

Christmas:

If I get you as a partner for a christmas swap, please e-mail me and ask me more about my likes! This is really important to me as I simply LOVE christmas and am so particular about what I keep in my home. I like my christmas to be traditional, no orange glitter balls in my christmas tree. I prefer reds and greens and neautral colors. Also no santas or angels. My christmas is the older version with gnomes! I might live by christian rules but I'm not a christian so no saints or crosses or such.

Colors:

I DON'T want any garish colors, by which I mean wildly clashing bright bold colors. Bright is alright when teamed up with something milder or neutral.

Anything sweet to my ears, soft and nice and happy please. Give me Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Enya, Sugarbabes, Frou-frou and I'll be happy.

I like 'em funny and/or sweet. But not films with Ben Stiller, Jim Carrey when 'funny', Jack Black or their likes. Or scary mowies, yuck. Everything else I usually like as long as imdb.com rates them higher than.. lets say 7.5.

I don't watch tv anymore.

Papercrafts, sewing and a little bit of embroidery. I also make a lot of beaded jewelry, love those little thingys!
