Comment: Guess what? Yeah I got your WV PC:-) Beautiful bldg. All the places that you mentioned on your PC I have been to. I graduated high school from Hopewell, VA! Went to VA Beach for graduation! Small world. Thanx for the resend. blessings, ellie
Response: Yay! Glad it made it to you safely. I would love to visit Virginia again. It's a beautiful state.
Comment: Thanks so much for the letter, stamp, and the extra--washi tape! I'm trying very hard not to let the washi tape become an addiction. I've seen your collection! :-) I love your hand-made stationery. Did you copy it before sending it out? Recommendation: convert it to .pdf using your hp printer and add it to your blog as a freebie. (This isn't just me trying to get free stationery ;-). It's cute and should be shared!). You're not "terrible" at stamping. I love the "imperfections." They add to the charm. Thanks for going on an additional "hunt" for the stamps and for setting up the swap. You rock!
Response: As a matter of fact, I did think to save it as a PDF. ;) I'll post it on my blog tonight. Thanks for the idea! Good luck trying to resist the washi tapes. I know I failed at that. :)
Comment: Patti- The journal you made is simply wonderful! I love it! And the extras you included were a very nice surprise! Thank you so very much!
P.S.- If I may ask, how did you do the wonderful binding? I'm always looking for new (easy) ways for binding...always seem to have trouble with that part.
Response: It was in a workshop created by ruKristin called Fold It In. I've used this binding for the first Mini Blank Junk Journal and loved the way it came out. You can find more info here: http://rukristin.com/blog/2013/05/fold-it-in-a-new-self-paced-workshop-from-rukristin-papercrafts/. (Sorry I couldn't link it in the response box.) It's also a great way to use your stash!
Comment: Thank you! So many hearts on the envelope, very nicely done. Of the contents I especially like the heart with the wings, must use it in my own jewelry so I can keep it :D
Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like the things I sent you. I really like that bead, too. I have one left and I want to do something special with it. I think I'll go try to find some more since it was really cute. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: PC#1 came today! Thanks so much for sending my favorite book! :-) I'll let you know when #2 comes. 8/10--#2 came! Another favorite! Thanks again--and I don't know what happened to your heart the first time! :-) (I sometimes use non-HP paper in my printer too. Some of them do good work. Some don't. If you're interested, all HP photo paper is on sale at Office Depot. Today's the last day of the sale!)
Response: That's so funny! I sent them out at the same time. :) The heart check box is hard for me to keep checked when I'm on Swap-bot via smartphone. Small screens and all. Thanks for letting me know about the sale. I'll work my way through this 300 sheet batch first... I'm sure there will be more sales in the future. Thanks again!
Comment: sorry...sometimes the save button doesn't seem to work!!!! Yes I received your swap!!!! thank you...now if I could only sit comfortably for an hour or so I could work on some projects! thank you again
Response: Thanks for the heart! I'm glad it made it safely to you.
Comment: Sorry the rating is so late! Pony express rides again! Just got here today...
You should visit at least New Mexico if not Santa Fe! Of course I haven't been to Canton either. It does look like it is a walkable city. Wish Santa Fe was...not a lot of sidewalks. My street doesn't have one and it is barely wide enough for cars...
Response: No worries! I just wanted to make sure it made it there safely, I would have resend if it didn't. I'll have to add NM to the "To Visit" list! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Patti! I loved the atc. It was so simple but ....I know you put a lot of work into it to make it appear so. lol And you have made my brother a 'happy camper' with the tea!! Thanks so much.
Response: I'm glad you loved the ATC! I made a series of them - you can find a picture on my Instagram (link at the top of my profile). It was really fun to put together! I have a house full of tea! So glad he likes them. :)
Comment: Thank you for your list of interesting questions, I was wondering how best to answer them because that would be one heck of a long letter! Haha, hoping to reply to you after my holiday. x Take care!
Response: Take your time! I still have to answer my other 25 question swaps, too. I can't wait to read your answers! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the nice letter. This time it reached me without issue ;-) Sorry for the first one that seems to be lost.
Response: Glad it arrived okay! I'm pretty sure I wrote the town and code backwards on the last one and the post office probably decided to not deliver it. Lesson learned: always check the country's address format before sending. :)
Comment: Thank you for the great pc of Virginia, patti! I have to say I agree with you on the soad song!!! I remember it came out August 2001, and I fell in love with it.... I've heard it so many times, and like you can hear it in my head along with the video! The other songs that came out on the album were amazing too! I always wanted to see them live, but never got a chance to. Serg, had a great voice though! I liked his one song 'empty walls' he did solo.
Response: I'm glad you liked the postcard and song lyrics. I find myself singing that song every now and then. Just awesome!
Comment: Thanks for the PC! I love making Totoros. Hes one of my favorite. Ive crocheted a few so far and am planning on making a very large one for myself to use as more of a cuddle buddy pillow for when Im watching TV. I agree. Miyazakis work is fantastic.
Response: I haven't made amigurumis in a while so my hand is not used to the tight tension needed to make amis. I love the buddy pillow idea! Have a great day!
Comment: Thanks you for the postcard and lyrics! I wasn't familiar with that Beyonce song, so I listened to it online. The Boston postcard was really neat too. From the edging, to the picture, to the texture it was just so rad!
Comment: Hi Patti! So nice to meet a fellow terrier lover :) I loved the card you made - very very pretty!! I can see why the Hello stamp is your favorite, too - very cute and versatile. Hope to swap again soon!
Response: I had a great time creating your postcard! Glad you like it. :)
Comment: I LOVE this stamp image! I really appreciate all the hard work and thought you put into this (painting the background especially). Thank you for taking the time also to look at my profile... you nailed me perfectly! 10+ hearts if I could give them!
Response: I'm so glad you love it! When I saw the stamp in the store, it just said "Buy me, K.D. will love it!" Maybe it didn't say that out loud, but it was definitely saying "Buy me, I'm so cool". :)
Comment: LOVE!!!!! omg, i don't know which is my fave but i adore them ALL! you are so sweet. this is a cool machine you have to make these. it's my first tag swap, i just started making them so i was kind of nervous but i had a blast. & i <3 jimmy buffett!
Response: I'm so glad you love them! I had a great time making the journaling cards. I used a Silhouette Portrait to cut the cards. :)
Comment: I love the way you did the punch outs, and the Keep Calm and Carry Yarn is adorable! Also thanks for including some tea! I have a quotes swap I am hosting that I would love for you to join if you would like. Oh and your cloud washi tape is adorable!
Response: I really love the quote cards that I made for you that I plan on making a set for myself!
