Zentangle Inspired Art Swap Series Homepage

Autumn is a time for nature's jewel colours and beautiful foliage.. Image borrowed from Stephanie Jennifer CZT21.

This ATC swap requires you to first look at this tutorial [ or similar ones as there are now many others available online ] created by Kae Yoshino CZT, the original inspiration behind this technique: _http://goo.gl/Jez9vm

Please check that you have read ALL the details as the requirements for each swap in the series may vary.

This is a sender's choice swap, but please avoid religious/controversial themes. This is a type 3, International swap with a minimum rating of 4.99 and above. For interested swappers with less than 4.99, do leave me a private message for consideration.

I will angel if necessary.

The Details:

  • One partner, one ATC

  • Your string should be drawn free-hand, featuring AT LEAST ONE 'gem', in your choice of colours, just like how they are taught in the tutorials. The rest of the ATC should reflect a distinct Autumn garden theme.

  • Use a minimum of AT LEAST TWO KNOWN TANGLE PATTERNS to complement your gemstone(s). [ I hate to have to be so exacting in my requirements, but of late, I have received some very sloppy work in this swap series. If you have any questions about what Zentangle is, PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU SEND. ]

  • Fill up at least 75% of the ATC. More is always fine.

  • You may choose to buy or create your own ATC from your favourite art paper, bristol board, strathmore cold press, etc., just ensure your ATC is thick enough.

  • Include a note containing: A. your SB moniker, B. swap name, C. a few lines to share with your partner, and D. quick list of tangles used in your ATC.

  • Send your ZIA ATC and note in an envelope.

  • Rate your partner when you receive an ATC with a note that includes A. B. C. & D.

Have fun!!

Ooh I've never been brave enough to try out gemstones yet. I'll give it a go and then sign up if I like what I make! πŸ˜‚
