My Name

Please note in the Send Directions that my first name is NOT the name of the girl who went to Wonderland and met the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat, nor did I chase a white rabbit down a rabbit hole. Also, my first name does not contain an S or an H. As far as my last name.... It is NOT a season nor is it a natural opening in the ground where water flows directly from an aquifer to the earth's surface. There is no I or U in my last name. My mail has been sent so frequently to the incorrect name(s)that I now have known aliases with the post office and government. This is not a joke. When I did one of those identity verification things not too long ago it identified me as all these other names. PLEASE PLEASE get my name correct, it's not hard friends... it's right there in front of you as you are reading my address. Thank you in advance for your care in this request.

The following may sound rude or derisive, but that is not the tone I am trying to convey. These things are said with heartfelt honesty.

I'm so tired of the drama over silly things like swap ideas and pieces of mail. This place is supposed to be fun and about making friends. It's not supposed to add stress to your life and feel like a soap opera. If you like one of my ideas then use it. If you need to mail a day or two late…whatever! Just let me know. If you want to host or join a “rating” swap where nothing is sent, then go for it. People need to get over their idiosyncrasies about this place. This is not the real world and this is NOT our life. This place is meant to ADD FUN to our days.

I’ve luckily have met a lot a kind-hearted people here that added joy to my days. I enjoy getting mail from them and I smile when I see their name in my mailbox. Thank you to everyone that has taken a moment out of their day to mail me something. 😊

If anyone has any of my journals that they don't wish to keep, I'd be quite happy to have them returned. I can Venmo you the shipping cost or even print out a mailing label and email it to you.

I will be honest and tell you that I hate the rating system on here. It makes me feel like we are in elementary or high school again and competing in a popularity contest.

Case in point, I work really hard on a swap and try to make it nice for you. I think I did a amazing job and send it off to you. You get it and think, “ Eh, it’s alright but she didn’t send me any extras.” So you rate me a 5 instead of a 5 ❤️.

In my opinion there should be 2 ratings. Did you get it?: Yes or No. if you get too many No ratings then you get booted out. Simple as that.

I only give one rating and this will not make me popular. If I get something I will rate a 5 ❤️ because I appreciate you. If something is late or lost that is life. I never use a 3. If I never get something then I use the “I don’t wish to leave a rating at this time” option and then I archive the swap. I am not going to harass the person over a postcard or a letter.

When I join a swap I take the risk that I may never get anything in return. I don’t stress over it. I join because I LOVE sending things to new people.

I will mail to you. I will try my best to make it nice. I will rate you when I get your mailings to me.
