Favorite Crafts

Zines, mail art, drawing, sewing (once in awhile...I tend to get impatient!!), art journals, making comics, mixed media, ATC, collages, currently getting into flip-books !!! Also love to draw and assemble articulated paper dolls and incorporate them into my projects.

My art style incorporates messy/collagey/free form art journal type looks. I love to incorporate texture in my collages.

About Me

Hi!! I'm a 21 year old feminist babe who likes to keep busy. I'm pretty introverted, clumsy, and disorganized. My pets are my life - i have a cat and 4 rats. I'm pretty crafty and love to read, go camping, run, and rollerskate. For a living, I work 2 jobs as a cleaning lady and hairdresser. I live in a cozy apartment in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my furchildren and wonderful boyfriend of 4 years, and our roommate!

~~I was a swapper a few years ago but for some reason am unable to retrieve my account information~~ Edit: my old account has been merged and I realize there were a few 1s, this was due to a mental health emergency on my end a few years ago, I am currently attempting to repair these ratings, a lot of the swapper are now inactive and I have been trying to get ahold of them to see if I can repair things.

Things I love

rats, cats, undersea, outer space, science in general, the colors Kelly green, dandelion yellow and dark red. bunnies, wine, whiskey, Halloween, punk music, folklore and urban legends, history, Harry Potter, comics (!!!), opossums, Sailor Moon, poetry, leopard print, feminist stuff, zines...ummm....the list goes on

I do drink tea!!!! For mornings I like spicier stuff (think Indian spice or chai...vanilla chai is my fave). But I am VERY sensitive to caffeine so in afternoon and evenings i like any peppermint, sleepy time, chamomile, or send me something new to try !

Not really into pink or kawaii. :(

Favorite Movies

Tarantino films (but death proof is my fave), Benny and Joon, SLC Punk, Peter Pan (all of them), Cry Baby, God Help the Girl, Mysterious Skin, Tonight You're Mine, Pans Labrynth, Coyote Ugly, God Help the Girl, Lilo and Stitch, any documentaries!!!

Wishlist

Anything rat related !! Your drawings. Anything miniature (I love receiving blank mini envelopes). Washi samples (!!!). Clippings of sunflowers. Blank stationary (no kawaii unless its Halloween themed please) tea!!!

Comment: I am sorry that you are having some personal issues, I tried to be really generous with giving you extra time as I know how things go from personal experience. Messaged me on 5/31/16 saying they needed to mail a day late and would send it out the next day. Messaged me again 6/7/16 and said they had not sent it out due to a family emergency and would send it out ASAP. They were last online 6/15/16. As of 6/21/16 the swap is unsent. I have not received anything or any further communication so I am rating a 1. If you come back and want to make it up, let me know.

Response: Glad you're pleased!! Putting it together was a blast.... Still wish the post office would've let me send it naked...but they said the patterns would confuse the address machines :(
