I'm a nurse living in suburban NYC, I've always wanted to be more creatively fulfilled. Mail art has been a fun outlet for me to explore my creative tendencies. I've especially enjoyed MMSA swaps in the past but the postage stress for handmade cards sent me here. I have trouble starting projects, so I really appreciate the direction. Favorite colors include purple, green, magenta.
I love cats but have an allergic husband, so I dote on a pesky yet adorable labradoodle named Furley. We added a pet cockatiel to the mix during Covid, his name is Pineapple. Then we got a rescue parakeet named RIo. I've done a lot of scrapbooking in the past, but presently, I prefer magpie, gratitude, and writing journals.
I love decorating for the holidays and the IDEA of entertaining. But in practice, I enjoy the cooking, arranging a "tablescape" but wish I had a ejection chute for my my guests after two hours LOL.
I enjoy shopping for antiques but am trying to reconcile my collections with a small house. Decks of cards, Disney pins, and small assemblage items bring me delight. And I love any kind of anthropomorphic animal! They're impossibly cute!
Please contact me if you haven't received a swap from me, I will be more than happy to resend. My PO is pretty reliable, but the unexpected can happen. Thank-you!!
I love 90s music, old school New Wave, Light FM, (especially 70s Yacht rock), Motown, some Broadway (Rent, Les Mis), Glamour hair metal,
Favorite book ever is The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher, I enjoy Maeve Binchy, Anita Shreve, Anne Rivers Siddons novels, short stories, tend to prefer uplifting books and themes. We have a little free library in our neighborhood, and I've found some good books by Fanny Flagg. The Goldfinch, travel novels, biographies (lately Ronnie Spector, Valerie Bertinelli, Geena Davis, Matthew Perry, Paul Newman, Julia Haart, ) I know this Much is True by Wally Lamb,
My favorite craft has been collage. I love vintage labels, ephemera, all kind of bits and pieces. I love STICKERS of all types, I still have my sticker books from when I was a child, and am working on altering/updating it. I used to do a lot of scrapbooking, but prefer smaller art journals these days. Magpie Journals, Gratitude Journals, and composition notebook calendar datebooks. I like using unique quotations, song lyrics, recycling cardboard packaging. I've been in Fodder School both 1 and 2, love their ideas and the supportive environment.
Any kind of postcard is welcome, thanks! If you have any SUNSET postcards lying around, I'd love them. I live in a densely populated area, and I miss that I can't see the sunset easily. I also love random List Papers. Christian/Religious themes are ok too, I recently got a lot of inspiration from a Wake Pray Slay sticker, lol.
Kim's Convenience, Lost, Portlandia, Mad Men, Mozart in the Jungle, 80's sitcoms, Curb your Enthusiasm, Louis CK (I know, I know), the Love Boat, Seinfeld, Twilight Zone, Schitt's Creek, Enjoyed Haunting of Hill House, Last Tango in Halifax, Dead to Me, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Jersey Shore, Cobra Kai, Brothers and Sisters, Handmaid's Tale, Transparent, Young Sheldon, Never Have I Ever, Modern Family,
I enjoy collage, especially working on my Soul Collage deck of cards. I've been in Fodder School, both 1 and 2. I love going to museums, and exploring New York City with my family. I love decorating the house for the holidays, and having family game and movie nights.
My daughter is 13 and her favorite things include: her pet birds Pineapple and Rio, playing the piano and clarinet and bass, lacrosse (she's a Goalie, God help me), cross country running, all kinds of animals, especially dogs, birds, hedgehogs, squirrels, and chipmunks.
Hello all, and apologies for my Irish Exit. I had to take some time, while working at a stressful management job. Finding myself approaching the Winter with a lot of extra postcards and stickers available. Happy to be back swapping!

Hi, thank you for sending my traveling sticker book back! If I recall, that was the first swap participating in a "traveling sticker book", so I'm happy it came back to me. I haven't had success with traveling sticker book either, I've had one come back to me (because I purposely left 4 pages in it and teared the rest out haha). I appreciate you sending it back to me! ~kizzlets
Silly me forgot to put a stamp on your card for the recent St. Patricks Day Card swap so it got returned to me. I did a resend and sent it out this morning!
