Monday, October 27, 2025: Howdy! I've been out of town and out of pocket. I have a bunch of mail to go through and play catch up. I'll be rating and responding through out the week and weekend. Hi! I am a Technologist who love art and the process of creating. I have done other swaps, which includes swapping internationally. Swaps are fun and exciting. Swapping allows me to see how creative other people are and to see their interpretation of a theme. There are always a great variety of ideas. Receiving from others not only give swappers a chance to add variety to their collection, but it gives an opportunity to add more create ideas to the repertoire of ideas in their creative brain.

I've always been particular when it come down to cleanliness and germs even before COVID. Yes, I do know some germs are necessary, but what I can control, I try to. I grew up using Lysol spray and I always kept a supply in my house before the pandemic. I also kept hand sanitizer and wipes around at home and work. When the pandemic hit, the people that knew me and my habits all mentioned that they now know why I've always done what I do...lol.

Any who! I said all that to say this: I will keep on being particular about cleanliness and sanitizing.

1. I still keep hand sanitizer and wipes around when working on swaps. I wash and clean my hands so much that I keep moisturizers in just about every spot that I keep hand sanitizers and wipes because sometimes my hands become so dry.

2. I will continue to wait at least 24hrs before opening swap mail. I have a basket to put the mail in that's located in my foyer by my office door.

3. If you have any type of symptoms whether it’s allergies, a cold or whatever please just let me know. We can easily come to an agreement for a much later time for you to send your swap. I won’t mind at all. I would prefer you to work on getting healthy and not worrying about a swap anyways. I will surely do the same. If I'm under the weather I will contact you to set up an arrangement.

The swap-bot community has been great and my experience has been awesome! I’ve met some wonderful people on here. I do think about you and hope that everyone is safe and healthy.

Colors that I like are Shades of Brown, Turquoise, Purple, Red, and Black.

There are a combination of colors that like together like pink and brown. Well that one had to grow on me. At first I couldn’t believe people were putting pink and brown together. Then I got over it.

Autumn/Fall colors are beautiful as Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I love Thanksgiving!

I love Butterflies, they are my favorite insects. They are so beautiful to me. When I think of butterflies 🦋 I think about quietness and peacefulness. Serenity.

If I had a pet, I would prefer a dog over a cat.

I love creating ATCs and I have created and swapped artist trading coins also. I've been exploring creating tags of various sizes. I have received some fabulous ones when swapping.

I like mixed media journaling and creating my own journals. Most times I give away the journal after I finish making it. I've also sold a few of my journals. Journaling is a great way to express yourself, whether it's through the writing of words or drawing, or collaging ideas. That is why I like to create them.

I love homemade envelopes!

I love different style of pens and journals. I also love different styles and texture paper like lokta paper, handmade or coffee/tea dyed paper. I keep plenty of washi tape and adhesives around. I'm not as addictive to washi tape as I use to be.

I love my sewing machine. I've made shirts, aprons, pant suits, formal dresses, journals, paper crafts, and various other things.

I like variety and what’s made from the heart.

No food or drink items please or scented things...I have allergies. So, it’s best to just avoid having it sent.

Cigarette smoke or any smoke smells bothers my senses. Cigarette smoke gives me a headache. I really do appreciate you being considerate of that.

Please do not send me jewelry as I have a skin sensitivity, therefore I have to be careful about costume type jewelry that is not real. IF it's something that I have on my Etsy or Amazon wish list then it's okay. If you see something on there that means I have already checked it out to make sure I can actually wear it.

I can not wear clip-on earrings they make my ears hurt and irritated. I don't want you wasting money. Thanks for your understanding.

No Hello Kitty, Harry Potter, Cartoon Stuff (it’s complicated...lol because I do like the Peanuts Characters...Charlie Brown and the gang and Betty Boop).

I don't celebrate Halloween and stuff related to it. No gothic, darkness, pagan, and creepy stuff.

I really don’t have a favorite television show that I must watch. I do like watching British shows. We have the Herbie collection, which is fun to pull out and watch. I enjoy watching Mr. Bean. He is funny to me. 🤪🤓

If I have you as a swap partner and you don't receive a swap from me, PLEASE let me know. I will resend or try fix the problem. I’m not responsible for what happens after I drop it off at the post office, but I will resend if necessary.

My goal is to send out swap items before the deadline. Majority of the time I try to send the swap as soon as I find out who my person is. When I decide to join a swap I make sure I have the items already available. Then when I find out who I’m sending to I check their profile so I can tailor the swap item to what the person like and don’t like if it’s a profile related swap. Even if it’s not a profile base swap I still like to check a person’s profile so that I won’t send them something that’s on their dislike list. Now if the swap says to put it in an envie or pack it and seal it before finding out who your partner is then I absolutely will not check profiles then.🧐😀

If there’s ever a question about anything please contact me. I didn’t join Swap-bot to make other people’s lives miserable by joining swaps and not sending the required items. Swap-bot isn’t my first go around of doing swaps. I’ve been swapping with another online group with no problems. I’ve done US and international swaps with them.

When I came across Swap-bot I thought it would be a great opportunity to expand a little bit, meet other creators, and get ideas from other creators. I consider myself a fair and understanding person. I don’t mind working through situations with people and I would like for others to do the same.
