About Me

Hello, I'm Zoe and I'm from York in the UK. I’m self employed, and I haven’t done any swaps in nearly 5 years because I’ve been working a crazy amount! That’s a bit less hectic now so I’m trying to remember what having a life outside of work is like🙂 I’m now officially middle aged, but have no kids or pets.

Things I like

I am interested in most things, but I particularly like old stuff and weird stuff. I like contemporary art and I'm pretty easy going, so feel free to send me odd, experimental or tasteless items.

I love all sorts of music, as long as it's good ;) I'd love to receive anything related to music, especially if you know the chords to your favorite song so that I can learn to play it (badly).

Anything bird themed generally makes me happy.

I love to read, and I’m currently re-reading a load of Terry Pratchett.

My favourite thing is to be surprised by what you choose to send me.

Things I don't like

I’m vegetarian and not keen on animal products in general ... but I’m not actually vegan so don’t worry about it too much!

Comment: Love the packaging and all the little extras! And this was a very inventive and creative approach to Zeus, using his symbols to depict him instead of a statute or drawing. I really like it, thank you.
Response: Thanks, I really enjoyed this one :) I was struck by the similarity to Thor with the symbols, but they're very similar gods.

Response: I'm so glad you liked them, I had trouble choosing because the owls had yellow patches on them which I was worried you wouldn't like, but in the end I decided they were cute enough to risk it :)

Dear Zoe, It was a total delight to discover your surprise package in my pigeonhole when I went into work this morning! It absolutely made my day. All of it is wonderful -- the envie full of birds with the quotes, the pretty pen, the cards with the musical note, the tiny Paris postcard, the lovely bookmark, the photograph, the jelly mould card (fantastic! how did you ever track that one down?), the beautiful pictures of your jewellery -- I could go on and on! It was so beautifully wrapped that I almost didn't want to open it! Thank you for making me feel so cherished.
