Favorite Crafts

i LOVE to scrapbook and i LOVE to do any sort of crafts and LOVE stickers i love tim holtz products, i am just getting started in his blendings and inks so i would love to start a nice collection of his glimmer mists alochol inks, and stickles. i would also like to get some of his distressing tools and his other tools for blending and attaching embellishments. i guess my favorite items in scrapbooking are embellishments. I absolutely love stickers especially glittery and pop out embellishments. I also am starting to love stamping especially the clear stamps and i just love glitter glue not only to use for my scrapbooking but also for my kids artworks too. ADDED 1/12/11 I just wanted to let everyone know that i have swapped with in the past and the coordinators how happy and thankful i am for this. I was hurt at my job and had all the discs in my neck herniated and surgially repaired. I no longer can work and have a very limited life and i so very look forward to getting on here and joining a new swap. I love getting the mail and seeing things from all over my own country and all over this great world. This has been the best therapy for me since i was hurt 8 years ago. Please know when i swap with you i am totally looking forward to sending and receiving. Sometimes i have more fun sending then receiving. I love to read peoples reactions to their gifts from me. I enjoy this hobby immensly and cannot thank everyone involved enough. But one last time, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART AND SOLE. I do appreciate EVERYTHING that is sent to me and i mean everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Favorite Books

anything nicholas sparks i also like beverly lewis series about amish people and their life. i also absolutely adore childrens books and one of my favorite books is the polar express and spookley the square pumpkin. I would love to get some childrens books from other countries so i can expose my children to other countries and their lifestyles.

Favorite Music

anything country i love classical music and holiday music i dont have any favorite of any of those genres but i can say i do NOT like female country music just never really liked it

Favorite Movies

any christmas holiday special, any nicholas sparks books turned into movies, christmas movies ecspecially ELF i also love four christmas the santa clause series the christmas shoes the christmas blessing the christmas story(that is my absolute favorite movie from the 70s i think that is when it was made)

family guy, general hospital, two and a half men, how i met your mother, kids cartoons, holiday specials especially christmas and thanksgiving and Halloween

LOVE anything scrapbooking literally ANYTHING I would love to learn how to crochet, but i have tried for many many years but i just cannot get the hang of it. I would love to learn how to make homemade prima flowers and learn how to make homemade scrapbooking paper i absolutely love to quill and i love oragami. I love oragami paper it is such a neat craft i love to do crafts with my kids especially christmas time it is so much fun to give homemade gifts i love to bake and i love to make homemade gifts for people i love to make my own bath salts and body scrubs

i have three children Ian who is 11 courtney(we call her court or cj) 10 and lillie(we call her rosie) will be 4 in february my kids are my world and if there is a swap for my kids i will be the first to join i would rather give them items than me so if we are every in a random swap please condiser my children they love anything that any kid their age and sex would like. My son especially loves beyblases courtney lover her dog cocoa and scrapbooking and lillie loves anything i think she asked for anything for christmas. thank you for considering my children, they love receiving things in the mail as much as i do.

Comment: I hate to have to leave this rating, but any communication regarding this swap has only been due to my initiation (which was already *after* the 'send by' deadline had passed); despite reassurance to the contrary, I regret to say that the swap still remains 'unsent'/unrecieved :-( I am aware that you are trying to 'catch up' however, for which I admire you; of course, should I ever recieve anything, I shall happily re-rate!

Comment: 3/18/2011~Never got the replacement package you promised...I gave you alot of time to get it to me but at this point I am giving up all hope that you will make it right....*****ORIGINAL RATING: I am sad to have to rate a 3 but the package you sent did not come close to the required amount...the swap called for $7-10 and I received less than $3 in candy and most of it was smashed up since it was mailed in a regular envie... the resend should have arrived by now and it hasn't...and I need to archive the swap... once it arrives I will update the rating*****It appears that you may have gotten yourself into quite a bind with your swaps and marking sent before they are really sent. You originally marked this swap sent in Jan I believe on the 21st...I didn't receive it until almost a month later...The swap I got looked like you just threw it together to get it out and Im sorry that I have to rate you down but I feel like I have no other choice... I hope you can pull yourself out of this mess, I really do...

Comment: The reason why I am rating you a three: Is because the first package you sent me was nowhere near the requirements on what you needed to send. It was maybe worth $3. Only after I had posted something about it did I receive a replacement package. While the replacement package had a ton of goodies in it, it just wasn't quite what I had expected and not very put together. I think you got in over your head with swap-bot and I hope you keep up making good on your swaps you owe.

So I'm changing my rating to 3+Heart=5. :) ***************** Today 2/21/11, my daughter received a package from you and she is so~~~~ happy. Thank you. I do appreciate it. It means so much to me. *************************** I was really excited about this swap but you totally ruined it. You originally listed that you sent a package to me on 1/24/11. When I didn't receive anything, I sent you a message on 2/4/11. You responded that you will RESEND the package on 2/5/11 however, as of today 2/14/11 I am still waiting for the package. And guess what? You did the same thing to my daughter with another swap. (Her address is different from mine.) You marked the package sent but when my daughter waited too long for it and contacted you, you told her that you will RESEND it which was 9 days ago. My poor daughter still believes in your word and is waiting for your package everyday. You may come up with reasons for not sending packages (like you were sick), you should never lie to your partenres that you already sent packages while you didn't. And if you have any reasons that you couldn't fulfil your part of the obligation, you should always contact your partners right away. Then make different arrangement. Changing your status from "sent" to "not sent" will not do the job. Oh, well.... so, are you still planning to send me a package in the near future?? When I actually receive a package from you, I'll change your rating. Until then, all I can rate you is anything else but "1".
Response: i will be sending this package on the weekend. I wanted to make sure all my kids swaps and some other earlier swaps were caught up. I mailed out over 30 packages today and plan on mailing 40 plus more tomorrow. It is draining my checking account and i realize that is not your problem, but you WILL get yourf package but it won't be mailed out til the weekend when my paycheck goes in on friday! Again i am truely sorry and i am sorry i ruined this swap for you, that was not my intention at all. Please rerate when you receive your package or at least let me know when you receive it! Glad you finally received thanks for the 5 i really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

26 Ones? Yikes, you really got in over your head didn't you? I feel lucky to have received my bookmark. Yes, I received the charms attached to it, it was wrapped in bubble wrap in a #10 envelope and surprisingly the post office didn't mangle it to pieces like they usually do. So thanks for sending. I gave you a 5 because it really is a nice bookmark. If it was crappy work I definitely would've left a 3 for being a whole month late with no contact.

I put a lot of effort into the bulging flat rate box swap I sent to you. You've claimed you never received it. I've stated (to all my swaps and in my profile) that I'm willing to resend if needed--but very little communication from you. I kept asking if you got it and you said you'd let me know. All communications had been started by me. Honestly, you need to sign up for less swaps and keep up with the ones you do sign up for just to be fair to those who get you as a swap partner!
