About Me

I am 23 years old, married to an amazing man, mother of a beautiful, 4 year old girl, and a little boy who was born in Feb. 2010. I am very outgoing and bubbly. I love to craft and read. Music is my lifeline. I also love doing photography and am working on doing it professionally. I am a full-time student and hope to finish my Nursing degree sometime in the near future.

Favorite Crafts

Things I love to do: scrapbook/paper crafts, hand embroidery, basic jewelry making, photography. I would love to learn how to quilt and sew. I can do very basic things with the sewing machine.

Things I Love...

pink, purple, orange, Elvis, butterflies, whimsies, the 1950's era, really old black and white photos, stickers! (not the teacher reward kind...but any others usually rock), chunky jewelry. I would love to receive anything for my 4 year old daughter. She's a girlie girl and loves stuffies, dinosaurs, the Grinch, gymnastics, Wall-E. I would also love anything for my baby boy.

Hi there! How are you? I hope my comment finds you and your family well! You and I have a lot in common. I love Elvis and Etta James! They are totally awesome artists and have left us so much to love! I also love The Notebook and my favorite Christmas character is the Grinch! I have a Christmas CD that I made one year with the Grinch song as the first track and a label with the Grinch's face on it!!! So fun! I love to sew and quilt and I encourage you to try and do that more. There are many quilts that can be made with just straight stitches and you can make small size doll quilts and table runners before graduating to larger ones! You and I have such similar tastes it's almost frightening :) Your music choices seem to be anything with a good groove and some great lyrics. I have a music library of over 800 songs, and I have all your favorites. As a full time student, mother, and lover of photography, I'm amazed you have time to swap at all, much less craft. How do you do it? Then again, I've heard a lot of people say (I've said it myself more than once) that crafting keeps them sane when real life goes crazy.
