Description:

I love editing images digitally - artwork (my own and others) and photos especially! It would be great to work on a smaller scale and make some digitally altered imaged into ATCs!

This swap is for digital ATCs - that is, ATCs made on the computer on digital image software (Such as photoshop). The image should then be printed in high quality and stuck onto a piece of card. It is up to you if you wish to embellish the card once it is printed, but the majority of the design should be digitally created!

You can make them of whatever you want, they don't have to be based on your partner's profile (although they can be if you'd like them to!) The only rule is that the images must be created on the computer! They can be altered photos or images, they don't have to be graphic images created from scratch!

You will have 2 partners and send them each two digital ATC. (4 ATCs total)

Normal rules for ATCs apply, 2.5 x 3.5"

Anyone with a rating over 4.75 is free to join! Newbies must message me before joining the swap and give me a link to another swap site (swaps on flickr, etsy, ebay etc.) so that I can see you will be reliable. You must also have a filled out profile!

This swap is INTERNATIONAL!

Feel free to message me with any questions!

Have fun!

Yes. This is right up my alley. I may have to take the file to kinkos to be printed though (as I have a less than great printer). but still right up my alley. Thanks for starting this one.

Glad you like it fleasha! I'm hoping my printer will keep behaving as well, otherwise I will be hijacking my dad's I think!!

So by saying "the images must be created on the computer" does this mean no digital photos or digitally altered photos, but specifically original digital art? Can they be embellished with non-digital items or is it like a Photo ATC, just the art?

twobluecrows, sorry I didn't word this very well! Yes they can be digitally altered photos or digitally altered anything!

And if you wish to embellish them, it's up to you! After all, it is artists choice!

I have also edited this in the swap slightly, to make it clearer for everyone =)

Well, I made my first one and really liked it. But it looks horrible when I printed it out. So unfortunately I am leaving the swap. My printer just can't do a good enough job that I'd feel comfortable sending it too someone.

Mojo 01/14/2008 #

That's such a shame kathyy =( is there nowhere you'd be able to print it?

Wow! This is right up my alley! I have been obsessing over my digital art lately an have created a folder on my computer entitled "Digital ATC's". Now I just have to choose which ones to send....

Mojo, I'm sorry, I had to drop out -- my laptop got fried and not sure what the ETA is going to be to get it fixed. :(

Mojo 01/24/2008 #

sibylspider - I'm so glad you like this swap!! You can always send more than two to your partners if you can't decided on which to send!!

NicolaO - that is such a shame :( if it is fixed by the time of the swap, feel free to sign back up! I hope your laptop gets well soon!
