Description:

We all have certain candies/chocolates that remind us of our childhood and of our grandparents. In a lot of countries there even are candies that are commonly known as "old people candy"!

For this swap you will have to remember which candies your grandma always carried in her bag or those ones that your old auntie used to gave you every given Christmas.

It will surely be fun to take a dive into the past and share those candies & memories with the rest of the group!

For this swap you will:

  • have 1 partner
  • send 2 $ worth of chocolate/candy You can just send one kind or different kinds but please make sure they are individually wrapped/commercially sealed.
  • send one card from an imaginary grandma! You can create your own card or send a bought one..you could share memories, give granma tips and suggestions..Be creative and use your imagination!

The usual rules also apply:

  • Be nice to your partner! Check eventual allergies/dislikes on the profile, rate and send on time. If occurs something unexpected that prevents you from sending on time please contact both your partner and the host.

  • Send the items in their original sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Also, make sure to check expiration dates before sending.

  • Package your items appropriately to avoid breaks and leaks (ie. wrap and prefer boxes rather than padded envelopes for fragile food, zip lock bags are great for powders, sauces or anything else that coud break, melt and leak).

Thanks to @aams for suggesting us this swap!

Remember you can always suggest swaps you would like to see in the forum thread. We do really appreciate it!
