Description:

Ok here is a swap Im trying to set up for all the Aussie Swappers out there. Lets see how many are interested. A large envelope swap (A5) Lets swap stickers, letter paper, bookmarks, postcards, notepads, notecards, friendship books, label envelopes, a hello letter?, a stamp? After you have signed up , why not post below what you would like. The idea is to suggest things for your partner not request them. Send in your envelope a few different things from the list above if your not sure.

This looks like fun! Interested, but I wouldn't be able to send by July 14. If you push the send deadline to the end of July I might be able to join.

Also wouldn't be able to send/receive friendship books or anything else that circulates as I don't swap those. But that leaves all the other stuff :P

I can send letter paper, envelopes, stickers, postcards, notecards, memo sheets... I can also send friendship books, but I wouldn't like to receive any, if that's cool. :)

Ok no probs royalshyness. I will edit the send by date so you can join in too. For requests I suggested you post/comment. Im sure if we can get a few people onboard there would be no problem with what to put in an envelope and to state what you would be ok to put in yours. Since it is and all Aussie swap we can add chocolate, tea bags and whatever other inexpensive things you can think of. Suggest away. :)

FBs and LBs welcome here :) Anything else on the list that takes your fancy is fine too!

This swap sounds like a great idea! I would love to receive some unused postcards and used or unused stamps, if possible :-D can't wait to swap!

I love this idea. I'll probably send a slightly bigger envelope, but still fit within the Aust Post 'large letter' guidelines: "A large letter is an article which exceeds at least one of the small letter dimensions and has the following characteristics: •rectangular in shape •no larger than 260mm x 360mm •no thicker than 20mm •does not weigh more than 125g" This would cost $1.20 to post.

I'd love to recieve some inchies - black and white to add to my collection. I'm also always after sewing supplies - a FQ, buttons, embroidery thread or machine thread, even fabric scraps (anything 2.5" square or bigger).

I can send all of the items mentioned above and I usually like to send a profile inspired crafted item :)

hey, I was just wondering when partners would be assigned? thanks :-)

Doesn't look like Chezzy has been online since the 9th July forum time. Hope we get partners soon, I have to get this in the mail before Tuesday because of personal commitments.

Sorry guys had a family emergency

emoddle 07/13/2012 #

that's fine :-) hope everything is better!

Chezzy 07/15/2012 #

Thanks (emoddle), things are improving! Everything happens at once right? :) If anyone has any trouble sending things off in time let me know i can cover for you.

I am finding it very hard to find a sturdy A5 envelope. The PO does not sell them, they sell large B6 envies or A4 but not A5. Where do you find such a size?

Chezzy 07/20/2012 #

i got a pack from big w, but just make one or fold a a4 in half. The size of the envelope doesnt really matter, just the contents. I listed a sized envelope just to make the contents more interesting. Recycle an old satchel? Reinforce yr envelope with tape.
