I give lots of hearts but not just because of extras, as I believe the swap item is what is important. I will appreciate anything extra you choose to send because you think I will like it, but it will not automatically earn you a heart. When I send extras myself, I do it in the hope of making my partner smile, regardless of possible hearts.

Thanks to everyone for being so patient in waiting for my swaps. I have finally caught up and am no longer behind, yahoo!!! Thanks also for all your care and concern during my illness and recovery.

Despite my best efforts I was awarded a three for a swap that was sent during my recovery period. Yes it was late however, I did pm my partner and let her know the problem. She was ok with it so I thought everything would be fine, obviously I was wrong. The swapper in question has harrased everyone who has left notes for me about this on my profile comments and on my ratings. I am really sorry if she did this to you. She has been reported to admin and appears to have stopped the harrassment. Please let me know if it continues. My three was undeserved and I will therefore wear it with pride!

I am 40 years old, happily partnered with 3 children. Spending time with my partner and kids is very important to me. We love going to the beach or the country and exploring.

I also enjoy art galleries and book stores :)

I love the colours purple, green and orange. I wear a lot of orange, occasionaly I wear green, I look best in brown or black but sadly I look awful in purple :(

I collect silver perfume bottles, old tins, boxes, and pre-1950 girl's stories especially boarding school books :)

Jess, EJ and Maddy

Jess (16) loves to read, listen to music, hang out with her friends. Her favourite colour is purple, she is blonde, blue-eyed, bubbly and bright. She adores Elmo (yes she is 16!).She has just got her first job working in a fruit and vegetable store and she loves it. Jess wants to be a kindy teacher when she grows up.

Maddy/Magic (14) also loves reading and music however, unlike Jess she is very crafty and loves Art. Maddy is a crusader for World Vision, a vegetarian, is fascinated by everything and wants to know! She loves black, red, Emily the Strange and anything shiny. Maddy has dark blonde hair and hazel eyes, she is funny and can be quite dark. Maddy wants to be a World Vision ambassador as soon as possible!

EJ (12) is the sporty one of the family. She plays basketball, netball and soccer though not all at the same time. She doesn't like books. She loves the beach and anything pink or green. EJ is blonde and blue-eyed, once she starts laughing she can't stop. She loves eating chocolate. She doesn't know yet what she wants to be.

Please Note: As I work full time I can only go to the post office on Saturdays. I always post my swaps before the due date however, as we do not have a delivery service on the weekends my parcels will be postmarked on the following Monday. Occasionally this may make it appear that my swaps were posted one or two days late. I assure you they were not!

I take swapping very seriously and will never flake. I would appreciate it if my partners would give me the same courtesy :)

I have very eclectic tastes in music. I really love folk music, world music and classical. I also love bands such as Crowded House, Joy Division, Silverchair, Powderfinger and Opeth!

I am a secondary school English and Drama teacher so I read a lot of books aimed at a teenage audience. I love post-apocalyptic fiction, science fiction and fantasy.

The best book I read in 2006 was 'The Time Traveller's Wife'.

Best read of 2007 was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I love to watch all types of movies but sci fi and good quality horror flicks would be my favourite genres. I am a sucker for romances, my favourites are 'An Officer and a Gentleman', 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', and 'St Elmo's Fire' (Sooooo embarassing!). I also love old Hollywood films.

Favourite directors - John Hughes, Alfred Hitchcock, Nicholas Ray, Joss Wheadon, Robert Altman, Ridley Scott, Leos Carax, Steven Soderbergh, Gillian Armstrong, Alex Proyas

I have just seen the new film "Control" and I have to say it was one of the best films I have ever seen! If you like Joy Division then make sure you see it!!!

I don't like to watch tv much, so many programs are awful! I will watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly (I think Joss Whedon is a genius! ), history programs, documentaries (I love to learn new things), British comedy and good quality dramas. I also love old sci fi shows such as Blake's 7 and Dr Who.

I will try anything crafty when I have the time (3 kids, a man. a house, 2 dogs and a full-time job means time is limited). I am currently into scrapbooking thanks to my 13 year old who is obsessed with it. I embroider and cross stitch, knit squares for charity blankets, make bookmarks, bookstrings and beaded creatures. I love to make beaded jewellery, especially bracelets and earrings. I have become addicted to making ATCs since joining swapbot. I love being able to create a tiny piece of art in a small amount of time.

I collect small pieces of material with intricate/tiny patterns to embellish with embroidery and beads for fabric ATCs.

I'm also om the look out for Asian papers, joss paper, tiny mahjong tiles and coins to use in ATCs. Tiny trinkets are also always welcome :)
